hi. i am able to get in the game. but when my friend tries to go it says this server is for low ping players only. i have tried changing the ping in that dedicated file, but it doesnt work. and in that dedicated file max players shows 16, in favourites it shows 24 and name shows bozo in favourite, which it is not !! pls pls help!

You don't need hamachi. You can just port forward your router *if* it is a NAT router and if you know how to. Just go to port forward (dawt) com, and they have the major brands of routers there, with detailed instructions of each router model number. Just trying to help!

i have played on a friends server who is using this and it is working perfect, the one thing he did notice was if you change the server name and password in the game settings it doesnt work "key code message" but he cant seem to get the details to change when he changes them in the notepad file...please let me know about this plz

I had the same problem. Go to google and type in 08.iwd. Download the file sumwhere and replace the iwd file in the "main" folder. It may need you to download more. Hope this helps message me if it doesnt

I have downloaded the files and did exactly like you said in your video , but I have a problem. After I add the ip from Hamachi to my favorite , it shows up in the list , I can see how many players there are (0) and the map but when I connect , I get the message "Awaiting" and it counts , after that I get disconnecter for timeout , but if I go on Source - Local , I can see myself , and I can play with no problem but by myself , my friends can't join :|

Thanks so much, it works excellent for me :) I'm playin with my friends, and on my server we've got 47 working custom maps :D so i'm glad to this video and again: thank you And i've got Xfire too but it doesn't need for the dedicated server and it works fine near the Hamachi. Anyway you can lounch the game from XFire too by adding the server's hamachi IP and your port to your favourits but it's doesn't need to.

Why would you need to open ports in your router/modem when you're using Hamachi? Hamachi is a VPN, so it's all software. You would only need to open ports in your firewall (if you have one)
