I have to say I think that this woman is probably innocent but this is one of the many moments that killed her. There is no real conviction on the key elements of the trial related to in this closing statement, Just a bit trash talk instead. Why didnt the defence organise her to beg the facts more? Similarly, in her testimony, it was pretty weak, and she could have walked if these things were approached correctly (perhaps anyway)

if she was there (which all sane people think she was), but didn't commit murder, she is still guilty of accessory, perjury, cleaning up of a crime scene, lying under oath, failing to aid a dying person, failing to stop a murder and aiding the escape of a criminal. What is the evidence that she was there? She left nothing near the body. If you know anything about crime scene technology you will know that is quite a feat.
The evidence she was there: her bare footprints tainted with Meredith's blood revealed by luminol (showing that she tried to clean it up, who else would clean Amanda's footprint?).
The fact that this footprint was found in the room where she broke the wiindow from inside and where there was no sign of Guede (only sign of Amanda) proves that the window was broken after Meredith died,not before.
Amanda was seen together with Guede and Sollecito outside that night by Kokomani.
There are too... too many evidences in this case, that all three Amanda, Raffaele, and Rudy were involved in the murder of Meredith. Those evidences are of various kinds. Based on contradictory statements by all three accused persons, based on scientific investigation, the judgement has been pronounced and it is correct. One of the three will one day give the real description of what happened on that fatal night for Meredith. Drugs, violence, and sex, all mixed, can cause harm to young people.

Second, I said Lumumba was not an intentional lie. I was referring to other aspects. With Lumumba, yes I believe she lied under the duress of an illegal interrogation of extreme mental abuse that she was in no way expecting or prepared for. In the US, any fair judge would have tossed a testimony that was not video recorded, where she wasn't informed of right to counsel, and made under pretense of giving her official account of the case and NOT as a suspect.
There was no illegal interrogation! At the time she was being questioned as a WITNESS. But the police got to the conclusion that the lies were so absurd that she became a SUSPECT.
The Italian supreme court tossed her testimony because she didn't have a lawyer with her. You've just proved you know NOTHING about this case!

I should add, that the very fact that she did wrongly accuse Lumumba under duress in an illegal interrogation is why she was found guilty by the Italian court system and public. It was stupid and wrong of her. But it does NOT make her a murderer. Not even remotely.

They did not find any other DNA on the knife other than Amanda's and Meredith's. Sollecito's DNA was found on Meredith's bra. How could have someone else committed that murder without leaving any trace of his DNA anywhere?

The whole trial was based on circumstantial evidence, which means there was no real evidence connecting Knox and Solicito to the crime. Contradictions were made by Knox but also the police and investigators made a lot of mistakes. So it's absolutely not clear if they were involved in the crime or not. The biggest shit written here is the assumption of being guilty if you laugh or show no sadness. Everybody works up things in a different way. That is no confession of guilt.

I have to say I think that this woman is probably innocent but this is one of the many moments that killed her. There is no real conviction on the key elements of the trial related to in this closing statement, Just a bit trash talk instead. Why didnt the defence organise her to beg the facts more? Similarly, in her testimony, it was pretty weak, and she could have walked if these things were approached correctly (perhaps anyway)

if she was there (which all sane people think she was), but didn't commit murder, she is still guilty of accessory, perjury, cleaning up of a crime scene, lying under oath, failing to aid a dying person, failing to stop a murder and aiding the escape of a criminal. If you discount the knife and then no knife was found, then nothing really convicts guede of murder and therefore we can assume no one killed her, and she got bored and killed herself.

The evidence she was there: her bare footprints tainted with Meredith's blood revealed by luminol (showing that she tried to clean it up, who else would clean Amanda's footprint?).
The fact that this footprint was found in the room where she broke the wiindow from inside and where there was no sign of Guede (only sign of Amanda) proves that the window was broken after Meredith died,not before.
Amanda was seen together with Guede and Sollecito outside that night by Kokomani.

Based on contradictory statements by all three accused persons, based on scientific investigation, the judgement has been pronounced and it is correct. One of the three will one day give the real description of what happened on that fatal night for Meredith. Drugs, violence, and sex, all mixed, can cause harm to young people.

Second, I said Lumumba was not an intentional lie. I was referring to other aspects. With Lumumba, yes I believe she lied under the duress of an illegal interrogation of extreme mental abuse that she was in no way expecting or prepared for. In the US, any fair judge would have tossed a testimony that was not video recorded, where she wasn't informed of right to counsel, and made under pretense of giving her official account of the case and NOT as a suspect.

She's guilty, this has nothing to do with Anti-American sentiment, she changed her story repeatedly, accused an innocent man, showed no remorse or grievance after the death of someone who she claimed was her "friend", and appears to be a blatant sociopath. 48 hours had a program on this trial and conviction and they proved there was not a shred of evidence that Knox and her boyfriend committed this crime. The black guy who was convicted is the murder and the DNA on and inside the victim proved it . The prosecutor decided there was a satanic cult sex ring going on and between him and the media they convicted this poor girl. What are your guy's problem? I vacation in Amsterdam, Syria, Lebanon, England, Spain among other places, never once have I had a problem, and in fact, people have loved that I was from America and were interested from my experiences in the States. Fact is she had a fair trial, her demeanor was very questionable, and her story was never consistent. She deserves a far worse punishment that she is getting.

The whole trial was based on circumstantial evidence, which means there was no real evidence connecting Knox and Solicito to the crime. Contradictions were made by Knox but also the police and investigators made a lot of mistakes. So it's absolutely not clear if they were involved in the crime or not. The biggest shit written here is the assumption of being guilty if you laugh or show no sadness. Everybody works up things in a different way. That is no confession of guilt.
