Michael Symon is an incredible asset to Cleveland. He mirrors the Midwest comfort food culture in his cooking style, flavor profiles, and his work ethic. One thing that I love is that he gives the money back to NE Ohio by using product from local farmers. The local food movement is huge, and he's a great role model by being on board.

hxcmexi: actually, the only chef I think might be better than John Besh is Morimoto. Remember when Besh beat Batali? Simon wouldn't stand a chance against Batali. Micheal Simon is a fruad, he is no Iron Chef. John Besh was the true winner of the next Iron Chef, but the judges gave it to Simon anyway. So wrong.

him and Bobby Flay working together for battle thanksgiving was amazing as well, two of my culinary heroes.
