This video has put to rest all of the doubts I have felt about Textures after hearing that Erik left the band. Daniel seems to be a cool fucking dude with a lot of vocal range, he will do fine in carrying the band.

Textures are my favourite band... and I was aaaabsolutely gutted when i found out Eric had left. When i heard about Daniel joining (im a fan of CiLiCe) it was almost as if Eric leaving was worth it. This mans voice sends shivers down my spine every time i heard it. The next album is undoubtably going to be one of the best metal albums of all time. Textures + Dan's voice = pure perfection

I will always associate Textures with Erik's voice. No disrespect to Daniel, but when I got into Textures it was during a tough point in my life. Erik's voice just seemed to mimc what I felt. "Storm Warning" is such an amazing song. "Wherever you go, I go along." We love you Erik. Cheers, Daniel!

It truely is so sad that we will no longer hear Eric sing for the band, he has such an amazing voice and an endless range in both clean and scream. However, hearing those samples, Daniel's voice, however different, has a value and great quality to it that I know myself and the fan's of Textures will be excited to hear in the future.

OMG I'm so relieved now that i listened a texture song with Daniel singing it. I was devastated when i knew that Erik was leaving the band. I thought that the power that erik gave to Textures songs would never return. Hopefully Daniel is as good as Erik, at least from what ive seen til now. Erik will always be remembered though!
