  • Why the hell bring your gun in your car then? This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen.

  • With the setup you showed, the gun can still technically be fired, whether it's attached to your seat or not. So you can get into some pretty big trouble doing that. It's probably best to use the cable lock as it's intended (put through the chamber).

  • i feel like a locked glove compartment would work better. Those can be cut VERY easily with bolt cutters, even small ones would cut it. That being said, i do like the ingenuity of the idea and it is DEFINITELY better than nothing.

  • Awsome tip. love the "Hill-Billy ghetto nunchucks" ROTFLMAO!!!

  • @SeabeeMike73 They are deceptively effective

  • great idea with the gun lock for the car and i like the hillbilly nunchucks

  • @ICWWEVERYDAY thanks for checking out the video. Just have to be careful if you have the firearm cocked and locked. If i do lock it up that way i empty the chamber and lock the slide back. And hillbilly nunchucks rule.

  • Nice idea dakine, however, I don't think it's a good idea to do this while the gun is loaded. Plenty could go wrong while messing around with a cable lock and a loaded gun, even IF the safety is ON.

Although an empty gun isn't much use to you anywhere..... I would recommend that you UNLOAD it before "storing" it in this fashion.

  • Very true, i only thought about it after i made the video. Having the lock loop in the trigger guard and the firearm locked and loaded is a bad idea.

I'll make a follow up video for this to unload the firearm if it will be locked up like this.

  • good idea... great vid... i work in a hospital n i dont wanna bring it in a hospital so thats useful info dude thanks

  • Thanks for checking out the video, check out my other video on the car safe. It's also another good option if you want to upgrade.

  • great video....i never thought of using the locks like that.

    5*s

  • Actually your video on the midway bag reminded me of it. You had a spare gunlock you kept in your bag.

  • A friend of mine has been using a bicycle cable lock to lock his pistol to his steering wheel. I like the idea of locking the gun to the car but he had his where anyone walking by could see it and think to themselves "I"ll run on home and get a hacksaw, come back and get an XD" Good idea and good video.

  • I don't like having it in the open either. I usually use that toolbag in the video or any type of small bag that will cover it.

  • Great stuff.Good ideas.Hillbilly nunchucks.LOL! 5*s

  • You must respect the hillbilly nunchucks:)

  • I use mine on my ammo box.

  • That's a great idea, i never even thought of trying that.

  • Good video, that is a great idea on using the locks inside the car. 5/5

  • Thanks, it's a good alternative to the car gun safe.
