Raiden is so freaking cool. I like how he uses a little mischief in helping the mortals. I love how he is not a goody-two-shoes god. It's also pretty cool that he has a sense of humor, kinda like the first Raiden from the first movie. The one from Annilation is not all that cool at all.

llol there is only one scorpion there has never been one before another, and this is a remake because if u ever played any of the mortal kombat games and followed the stories through comics and cards you would know that they remade alot of the story in this series its showing what happened in Kung lao's era but most of it isnt accurate good try tho

Well from what I know from the very first days of MK, Scorpion's true origin is this: A renegade Japanese-born Lin Kuei warrior named Takeda returned to his homeland and offered his services to various lords and generals, many of his skills and techniques were soon copied and learned throughout Japan, eventually "evolving" into the art of Ninjitsu. Unlike the Lin Kuei, the art of Ninjitsu involves the use of weapons and magic's that can be mastered by any human with enough practice.

The Ninja never existed as a single collected clan, but rather worked as a loosely connected spy network made up of several small clans, the first Ninja clan was the Shirai Ryu, founded by Takeda himself, making them instant foes of the Lin Kuei and Takeda a target for assassination. Sub Zero killed him and he left behind a wife and child which he later heard were also victims of Sub Zero (though it was Quan Chi).

Scorpion was given a chance by his demons to return to life in order to avenge his death and the death of his family, but in doing so, he would lose his memory of his wife and child forever. He chose to return, bent on revenge against Sub-Zero. Scorpion, in the form of a reincarnated specter, soon learned of Sub-Zero's intentions to compete in the Mortal Kombat Tournament and followed the Lin Kuei warrior onto the boat, and MK1 starts there.
