This movie was sad. Wasn't there a part two where there's hidden treasure somewhere? And people race with roller skates? I remember a little black girl skating on the streets.

@compsciguy yeah. i think alvin was the main character in th second one and they look for treasure to help this old guy keep his house or something. but theres also some bad guys looking for the treasure. it was pretty good. too bad they didnt make anymore. i think most of the actors in the movies only did the two butter cream gang movies and thats it. they probably got too old.Yu could watch Mystery Team as a 2nd sequel.Its sort of a spoof to the type of movie BCG is.

I think the first one is okay- the second one is dumb. I haven't seen the sequel since fifth grade (which was 15.5 years ago)- but I do remember I thought the movie sucked and how the original was so much better. I just recently watched this one a few weeks ago for the first time since sixth grade. It was a movie meant for kids- but I still paid attention to the morals of the story.
