I was 17 years old then when I first heard the song from Singapore Radio. (3pm Sunday "Loong Fu Pang" programme") Listening from neighbouring Malaysia, the transmission was through shortwave then and the quality of the broadcast was not crystal clear. I mistaken about the singer and was amazed why Zhen Ni (Late martial art/Shaw Brother's actor Fu Shen's wife) would want to sing a song which is "youthful" as compared to her age.

What a blunder. :-)

what does "六年四班" mean ? are you born in 1964? I was born that year.

First time I heard this song is in 1987 when i was in the container ship "Ming Peace" as a cadet. I did not have any tacit understanding of this song until more than ten years latter. When most people celebrated new century on year 2000, I was painful of lovelorn.

This good for me to reflect the old days.
