It all depends on shipping and how backordered they are. We went to get a Wii in January but they were completely sold out everywhere because of the backorder from the holiday rush. We went to Target, they had none and said they wouldn't get any for several weeks, then we went to a different Target in the same area, and they said they had just got a shipment that morning and had a full stock.

you got it confused with a 360 it has 54% of breaking down on you thats 48% on every 360 sku. the ps3 has 32% thats only 24% on each sku and the wii only has 15% which is 7% on each sku.

I personally have both, but I like ps3 better. What I do i plug in my xbox controller to ps3 for power and I talk to my friends over live WHILE playing my awesome ps3. Best of both worlds
I already checked Call of duty modern warfare 2 is already past the 14,000 mark on reserves for Xbox360, and for the PS3 it hasnt even got too 11,000. PS3 fans i know if you think about it, if you take off the fixed red rings and the pay for live and the almost close to ps3 graphics you know xbox360 has a better rate.

Its kinda like that. I have 47 games installed on my xbox360 hard drive plus another 4 whole games that i downoded on games on demand. Plus music i have and movies. i only have 2 movies.
but you must know that 500 gb is still better since you could do that with the ps3 to begin with, and at a price of only $100, and a high speed of file transference, 500gb is more bite for your buck (plus apparently there's now a blue-ray disc that can hold up to 400 gb! meaning if i ever need more space i could put my media files on to the 400gb disc and clear up my ps3 of alot of space.)
The xbox360 el comes with a built in 120 GB card for extra help. The thing i told you about where it gets the file and makes it into a smaller file like winrar. IF you put all of it together its just like having a 600GB

No you are wrong the PS3 may have a better CPU but the xbox 360 has a slight better GPU. EPIC (makers of gears of war series) will only make gears of war for PC and XBOX console. Developers are no where near mastered and using the full power of the PS3, developers have said it is easier to code and make games on an xbox 360.

That's definitely an odd case. I remember one store I went to had an extremely, er, for lack of a better word, OPTIMISTIC manager. He bought, no joke, 300+ PS3s on launch day by buying out other stores. There was literally a big pile in the floor with 2 employees guarding it. He should've bought that many Wiis, or even 360s. But I guess he didn't realize that not everybody can spend that much money on a system. Still, I bet a few people managed to walk out of that store with free PS3s...

what are you talking about, the 720 is just a rumor and Microsoft said that they will keep the xbox live 1 day longer then the PS3, and Microsoft has made OS systems and heaps of software, the xbox 3 wont come out till around 2010-2013

no suprise there,the other systems just dont have it.for example microsoft is in such a hurry to develop the XBox 720(just to match up to the PS3's performance) that its going to force Xbox owners to basically spend twice, instead of originally just buying a Ps3.thats why Xbox owners are always so bitter about PS3 owners.

they probably had JUST got the Wiis in that day, they probably sold a couple from their last 360 shipment, and they had just sold out of the PS3 and may either not had a chance to order more or more didn't arrive yet.
Its certainly not due to any extreme demand for the PS3.

That's definitely an odd case. I remember one store I went to had an extremely, er, for lack of a better word, OPTIMISTIC manager. He bought, no joke, 300+ PS3s on launch day by buying out other stores. There was literally a big pile in the floor with 2 employees guarding it. He should've bought that many Wiis, or even 360s. But I guess he didn't realize that not everybody can spend that much money on a system. Still, I bet a few people managed to walk out of that store with free PS3s...

this is like five months old, of course the wii is selling in stores now, besides the ps3was taken off the shelfs. Word got out quick, on how bad it stank. The customers were complaining about the rank smell from it.So walmart and everybody else put out the king of all consoles by a landslide the nintendo wii and everyone with one or more lived happily ever after.
