  • 01:03 dat kid

  • Me third grade teecher wa dnt smartsy enough for them fancy math boxes

  • I have the Casio Fx-7400PLUS... is it any good??

  • so this is the thing im suppose to get for school...erg i dont like math!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i play starcraft on mine

  • unfortunadly the only casio calculator with algebra function is the fx 2.0 plus :(

  • 0:48 I believe the earrings from the girls are too small...

they should reach the floor, amiright ?

  • teaching calculus to 2nd graders.. seems good

  • anyone interest on this model pls contact at whloh06@yahoo.com.hk.

  • I own the FX-115ES scientific, which has Natural Input/Output, which helps a LOT. Once I got to Pre-Calculus (advanced algebra and Trig) I was required to buy a graphing calc, so I got the FX-9860GII. It's OUTSTANDING!! The only restriction my teachers had was that it couldn't have CAS. This has everything the TI-89 has except CAS and 3D graphing. In my school, they just used a PC program, Maple, for 3D graphing. The dynamic graph, conics grap, big, backlit (GII) screen, price, etc. are awesome.

  • Um, you didn't list IB. Is it allowed in them? Im surprised you didn't, its the hardest high school course you can do...

  • Graphic Calculators are banned from Australian major exams.

  • @AGameGem really? What about in uni? I'm about to buy one, got mid-semester exam next week.

  • @stevefp3 For that I don't know, I know it is for HSC. Not sure about other things.

  • Hench calculator, mine was £42. Anyone know any games I can make on it?

  • I like leaving messages on them @ school mostly politcal stuff like PALIN 2012 or OBAMA MAMA

  • fuck i just need a calculator that will do pre algebra so i dont have to do my home work anyone got an info on an algebra calc?

  • I'm currently taking Trigonometry + Pre-Calculus so I'm going to need a graphing calculator. My friend is going to lend me his TI-84 Plus for this class, but in spring I'm taking calculus 1 long. I need a permanent calculator but I don't like the idea of spending $120 on one. If anyone's used this, how does it compare to the TI-89 feature wise?

  • i would recommend the TI-Nspire because it can do almost every type of mathematics out there and it is one of the best out there

  • Which graphing calculator is better the Casio FX-9860G or the TI-Nspire

  • this Kalator is the one that will do scientepikally equations. ptibtpically, the equation can be solved for Y by using the Scientipically Kaltor.

you know what a kalkuator is?

  • Is it a dyslexic calculator?

  • ???

    you dont understand.

ptitpically, the Kalkalator is good at numbers, not dysekic.

the Caso Grafphing Kalator is also scientipical.

  • fx-82es

  • does anyone know how to set DiagnosticsOn mode on a TI-89 titanium calculator?

  • dsit-143

    or fxc-573

it will do sientipically that way.

the Kalacakaotaors were used to be a human. so and so dont go down to the pond didnt you know you could get drown down there?

    ptlitpitbcally.

  • Does anyone know how to make the TI-89 solve for x in the quadratic formula?

  • Do it on paper.

  • I figured it out.

  • You don't have to use the equation. Just plug in the equation as it is written and solve using the CAS. HOME Enter F2 Solve..then enter the quadratic = 0 and press ENTER to solve. The calculator gives you the x value(s). You could of course also substitute the coefficients using the quadratic equation, but that would be the long way to do it. Remember too that if the solution is for example x=2 and x=-4, that the factors of the quadratic are (x-2)(x+4).

  • he is wrong dont listen to him.

do you know what a Kalkenator is?

ptiptically, you plug into the equation using the DOR button. the Calenator will process and it will be one quadratic value of the -x or x. coeffishints can be cancelled out, they do not factor into the equation. lets for exaple x9483 and x984, the quadratic result of subsituting the coefishints with these numerals will always solve the equation.

    i also recomend dsit-143 and fxc-573.

  • why is there kids learning it :O

  • Casio, FTW!

    CFX-9850g!

  • This has no algebra math program like the TI89 Titanium. I use that program all the time. That is a major flaw with this calculator if you try to compare it to the TI 89. It looks closer to the TI84.

What has happened here in Texas at least, is that TI sells their graphing calculators through the schools starting in middle school for a huge discount...a new TI84 sells for $39. I think they learned this from Apple since schools and school teachers get their apple computers at a huge discount.

  • But if you compare the Casio Classpad 300 plus to the TI-89 Titanium, the Classpad wins because it is faster, better CAS, has SD card for extended memeory, and a touch screen.

  • I suppose so. Casio makes very good products at reasonable prices. I own a watch, keyboard, and several calculators from Casio that are very good for the money. What determines the best choice for most students is what their professor recommends since that is the one they will be using in school. In Texas, schools use TI products. The TI 84 is the standard in our high schools. Classrooms provide them in school so they are big purchasers. Most students buy one for homework too.

  • it may be a little retro, but you can give a pigeon cheetos and they will eat them up.

do you know what a cheeto is?

i tpitpbtically bring the rotel dip for the nakhos. theres forty eleven ways to spell naxo, it used to be a human.

  • pltipbtically, these Kalkulators used to be a human. in 200 AD, the humans were Computors and Kalators, before there were vcrs. the Kalkulator made the vcr and the play button. it used to be a human. scientechtechly, its not scientepteply correct.

do you know anything about diesels?

  • how much?

  • I guess many people and tests accept Texas instruments because it's an american company.

  • You can download the comparison sheet from Casio website. It can do everything that the TI-84 can do, yet has the Processor speed of the likes of the TI-89.

14 Mhz CPU just like the TI-89 not bad. Think of it this way, like a TI-84 but on roids and cost less too.

  • i wonder how much is the price

  • thoses a freking 100 bucks

  • At my staples this is only $47 ish.

  • Yeah you mean High school? LOL whatever. Anyways, in College and in the Industry they prefer HP models and Casio is just as good. The TI's are for kids. That's what separates the men from the boys.

Being "Alsome" doesn't make it no more no less better from other brands.

  • Well Excuse me for not knowing all of that American Slang of your country. I know there are only few comments in here but still, knowing the reason why TI models are doing successful in America is because it is a Texas product, after all, Book publishers are paid to write their science and math books in TI standards not giving other brands to compete in their market.

That's not the case Internationally, Hell, they use Casio products to build rocket engines in Japan, go figure.

  • the processing speed is very nice though.

  • I would like to see a side-by side comparison of this and some TI calculators... Looks good, though.

  • great
