I still think Nero is related to Vergil in someway...If you noticed when Vergil is the Nelo Angelo form, he's right-handed and Nero is left-handed so it would only make sense that the 2 are related.. If they were'nt related, there'd be no point in calling Vergil's dark demon prince state, Nelo Angelo or Nero Angelo (since it is claimed to be a misspelling). Some say its reincarnation but I dunno.. Capcom STILL has left us with questions...hopefully it will be amswered in Devil May Cry 5.

Maybe the day Vergil (Nero Angelo) died he transferred some of his soul to Nero because he saw that the boy wanted power to save Kyrie and it would allow Vergil to live and continue to get power. Just a theory but it might match up if Capcom gave us the timelines for the DMC series

Vergil- Born to a human mother (Eva) and Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. He always belived that Eva loved Dante more than him. Vergil was thought dead by Dante since he thought he was killed by demons. Then he found out he isnt and fights him so he doesn't try to make the human world Hell (litterly). Vergil jumps into the demon world where he fought with Mundus, losing. His soul was then bound to armor becoming Nelo Angelo. He continued to be until Dante destroyed the armor freeing Vergils soul.
