  • that proves right there lightning does strike twice in one spot lol O_O

  • My Chimney got struck years ago... Thanks to that, I find these videos very fascinating.

  • I unintentionally made my 4G Modem as the Lightning rod. The Lightning strike became closer and closer at every strike. I actually heard the zapping sound before the "boom" sound. It was just a few meters away from me.

  • I had one hit about 80ft away less than a week ago. Awesome!!!! That is about the fourth time I've been that close. It is different when you are this close, at the same instant, everything turns a brilliant blinding pink and blue and you hear a loud SNAP of electricity. Followed by an instant and very loud and sharp explosion, the thunder is gone quickly. Nothing can compare to the awesome beauty and power of Nature!!!!!

  • try being no more than 50ft away from a lightning bolt... scared the fuck out of me

  • really EPIC

  • Odd. I live in FL too :D I have seen an EVEN CLOSER strike, in the same situation, but I never felt it. I have seen multiple strikes of that distance, even closer, yet I have never felt it. My profile pic is of that close strike I caught on video.

  • How could you have felt that at a distance of about 600 feet? I saw one 300 feet away. I never felt it. BTW do you live in the Dr. Phillips area?

  • @awesomelightning maybe the lightning wasnt as strong as the one by him.

  • I hate, HATE! thunder, but i like how cool lightning is, for some reason thunder is just, i dont like it D:, if thunder didnt exist i think my life would be better o.o

  • what tinkle after first lighting. Im sory, but my english isn't good. I'm from poland. Nice 2 lightings in 10 minutes nice.

  • YUP THAT WOULD BE ORLANDO FLORIDA

  • im lucky here in texas we had a tornado last night it was crazy

  • Well, atleast you have some thunder over there in Florida.

I live here in Sweden on the west coast a bit north of Gothenburg and we have like only small thunderstorms with like 2-3 lightings in them. But sometimes their quite big. We had a major thunderstorm for like 6-7 years ago but it didnt pass over where I lived, so I could only watch it in a distance. But it had many nice lightnings in it, still remember some of them :)

  • wow florida is a really good place for lightning. i love storms.

  • Southeastern Pennsylvania isn't too bad either this time of year. Just had a decent storm last night.

  • cool. well it sucks for me; Auckland, New Zealand has really pathetic storms and very rarely

  • OH LORD

  • yep lightinf is faster then thunder

  • it looked reall at times

  • green lightning doesnt look happy lol RUN!!!

  • This is not fake. I say to all those people that go around posting 'its fake' on all the videos to get a life...its highly annoying.

Now, that first strike is about 200m away. 2nd Strike is about 600m away, meaning it did not strike the same position as the 1st one. 3rd strike about 900m away.

If I were to load the video up in an editor and find out the number of frames between strike and thunder I would be able to give a more accurate time.

  • lol sounded like u said hoe before the strike xD

  • Dang. God mad at those people in that house? How much damage did it sustain? Holysmokes. No wonder they call Florida "Lightning Capital of the World." BeLIEVE it, seeing this - five stars, adding to "Lightning" playlist. Thanks -

    *StormSpinner1* in Texas

  • jesus i wouldve hit the deck after the first one being so close lol

  • Wow, thats amazing

  • WoW Cool
