i calculated his vertical from this clip, at 0:11 i measured the height of the rim with a ruler which was exactly 4cm, 300cm/4cm=75, so the rim on this clip is 75 times smaller then actual size, because lbj is 203cm you must divide by 75 to find his height on the screen, it gives 2.7cm, measure lbj he is near exactly that. then measuring the negative space between his ankle and the floor shows 1.8cm times it by 75=135cm, conclusion his vertical here is 53.1inches, and can reach 12 feet 7

FYI The commentator was wrong and so was the uploader that is not a VERTICAl: jump he had a running start which helps him get that high it would be different if he just jumped straight off of two legs with A RUNNING START which is considered a vertical jump

@kapoioskapou last time I checked Lebron had a 60+ win team two years in a row, they were the favorites to win the championship BOTH years. Fans and expert analysts thought they were the best team and picked them to win the championship. But all of a sudden when Lebron comes up short people start saying "Oh he didn't have good enough teammates." Typical dumbass Lebron fans.

@kapoioskapou Maybe you should re-read what I wrote. I'm not making things up when I say Lebron came up short 2 years in a row in the playoffs. I never said he wasn't great, he's the best player in the league right now. It's an excuse to say he didn't have a good enough team because he did. I remember when they acquired Jamison everyone shat their pants thinking they bought ticket to the finals. But people still make excuses when he lost. And under current circumstances you still are a dumbass.

All i'm saying is you have to have depth and good role players to win championships. I'm not even a big Lebron fan but if you want to blame anybody for the cavs never winning a championship blame Dan Gilbert, he could have surrounded Lebron with some more talent. They could have gotten Stoudamire but they didn't want to give up Hixson, which was stupid.

kobe was a great leaper, just not insane like vince or lebron. kobe maybe the least of them with the ups, but you cant go wrong that kobes got more posters than almost any player in the game, lebron is more transition, vince has had more posters and transition dunks better than theirs, but kobes got enough posters and better ones than lebron for sure.

i calculated his vertical from this clip, at 0:11 i measured the height of the rim with a ruler which was exactly 4cm, 300cm/4cm=75, so the rim on this clip is 75 times smaller then actual size, because lbj is 203cm you must divide by 75 to find his height on the screen, it gives 2.7cm, measure lbj he is near exactly that. then measuring the negative space between his ankle and the floor shows 1.8cm times it by 75=135cm, conclusion his vertical here is 53.1inches, and can reach 12 feet 7
