  • great job! looks awesome...

  • that is some awesome skills you have mate, well done

  • good job john!

for the pr4 you could make the index finger groove, thumb groove, pinky hole and add finger grooves for the ring and the middle finger, then all fingers would have a place to lock in, for better precision and accuracy :)

  • How many sanding drums have you blown for this , .......quite a challenge only utilizing those "Dremel" sanders , I'd say .

For rough shaping maybe simple wood rasps might be faster , .....though some elbow grease involved and you need to find a way to clamp your workpiece into a vise(maybe leaving the handle somewhat longer to gain a "waste end" to be clamped thus squeezed and finally cut off when rough shape would be completed) .

    Nice work , though , ...great design , cheers , 61diemai

  • The one .

Yesterday I got my package from John with my Palmswell the first words that came out of my mouth was F**k me that is gorgeous and IT IS expertly crafted and finished and it's like it was made to measure just for me

;-) if anyone is thinking adding a palmswell to their collection then I urge you to get one you will not be dissapointed in any way .

To me this is it I have found the one

Thanks John you've done a fantastic job once again mate

  • I loved the PR3 since I first saw it on the GKforum in October last year and since it arrived a few days later i never let it out of my sight, it was expertly crafted, a glass like finish and fitted my hand like a glove I've not wanted to even try another design, this was it for me it was perfect .

Then It was made in Alloy again it was stunning and perfect I have my Brass one on order no doubt in my mind it will be as stunning as my first two "what could be better" this is it for me it's the on

  • Hi this is Steptoe67

  • What a lovely looking catty great job john lucky old lard

  • how must for one of those??

  • very nice john its very similar to the one i made earlier in the year - beauty

  • @we66y357 i think i remember yours, was it out that old table base?

  • @OLDMANSBALLBAG yeh it was i made a couple from the multiplex base almost the same

  • Excellent craftsmanship John. Far better than the ones I've made this way. You will find it to be a very stable and less tiring shooter because of the finger-thumb web support. It will also help that it will be held in a more natural angled grip. All the best and Happy New Year to you and yours.

  • @LordRobere thanks :) happy new year to u and yours too :)

  • Very good John.

  • @4030bing thanks :)
