how the governments have been lying and holding the whole world back by keeping us separated and fighting. If someone comes along and show us a better way, they lose power. Not that it has to be life from some where else to show us but the humans that have tried seem always to end up dead.
My number one film and this scene moves me so much because all that it says to me. About the movie, 2019 is not far away and even old 50ties movies that are set in the future is the time of now or even earlier. Where is our technology? Has it been hi jacked/ I think so. We should be farther ahead than we are now and for the record, Aliens are real and the government knows it. what they don't know is how to tell people and 2 I think also they worry about losing power over people when people see
Where is our technology? We are speaking to each other on it.
Its so easy to imagine flying cars and androids, but I would have never imagined the internet. Now that its here and so everyday, it seems boring though. Im sure replicants did to Deckard too.
Suuuch a great scene. It's beautiful and disgusting at the same time, hard to describe.
My only gripe is with the old versions (like this video) where the stuntwoman and her huge wig is really blatant in the scene. In the Final Cut they cleaned it up and made it so it's actually Zhora and not a stuntwoman. They did a fantastic job, if you've never seen the original then you can't even tell that it's been altered.
@Tetley007 waaat transparant raincoat, ive been thinking and talking about transparant raincoat but now i realize where i might have originally seen it first :D . Saw harry potters hermione with a transparent umbrella which looked good. Transparent things ftw, there is actually I car that is transparent, lots of things would be awesome transparent, i want transparent laptop maybe and make handbags, wallets, clothes, shoes and all kinds of things :D <3
the irony is that most of us humans are pure replicants, copying behaviours all day long...
most of us are so entangled and into it we dont notice, on the other hand the concept itself brings life to the idea, without the idea/perspective it wouldnt matter to us anyway...
everything is alive, robot or not...
you may think you are reading theese words, but it is just as true that they are reading you...the computer is using you...the food you eat, is using you.....but its all okay..........
yeah, think about it, your computer might just use you as you use it, in all ways we can imagine, also, there can be theese beings, who use you through the computer, maybe "macrobeings" is good description, if they are bigger than us, hmm
I once got this powerful flash revelation about other life-forms, consciousness integrating and interacting with us without anyone noticing, or almost no one.
@waggabiggadoo How can you say this film is bad, it's a classic. But let me guess, your probably a fan of Bevis and Butthead do America, and also Harold and Kumar.
@sorg54 i never said this film is bad, my comment was probably a failed reply to syrtus, i love Bladerunner, it is maybe my favourite movie of all times, atleast among my favourite movies <3 Bladerunner, Harold and Kumar was fun, the more things one love the more intelligent one is imo. Ability to appreciate reflects true intelligence. Thus I am fairly retarded, but I am working on it :d

Somehow, the death of a replicant seems very, erm, synthetic, almost like a toy breaking.
