  • I had never heard this song untill a couple days ago and ran up on it by accident. Now it's my opening song on one of my YT channels. Very powerful song. I give you a 10+ on the video 'scottruss42".

  • george strait also did this song a few years ago.

  • This is a great song. This is the first time I have heard it. I thought I had heard every song he ever sang since I've been a fan since the first time I heard him sing in the early 1970's. There is no one any better! I've seen him in concert several times, and he never fails to amaze me. These so-called country singers today sure don't measure up to the older ones who are still the greatest in my book.

  • If you search an interview that was just put up today with Ronnie in Albuquerque promoting the new album, he talks about this video here on Youtube and gave it great praise, said his wife talked about it and how wonderful it was...great honor for a great video

  • @MrNotNiceGuy Do you know where I could find that? It is a newspaper interview? I would love to see it. Thanks for letting me know.

  • @scottruss42 look at Ronnie Milsap Country Again TV interview.

  • @MrNotNiceGuy I saw that and am so happy Ronnie mentioned it because this is really beautiful, the

song and the clips with it.

  • NOTICE: Ronnie Milsap is coming out w/ "Country Again" July 26! "If You Don't Want Me to" will be released the 18th! Please spread this everywhere! BTW, BloozeDaddy76, you have a message from me in/on your channel.

  • Great song great camera

  • you did a great song justice...very nice!

  • Man this is such a great song .. had no idea Ronnie cut this

  • Thanks for posting. I recognize a scene from "The Quiet Man" John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. One of my favorite movies. Thanks for the video.

  • This is from Ronnie's 2006 country album "My Life". Radio refused to play it of course, because they were afraid Ronnie would put guys like Tim and Kenny out of business with his superior voice.

  • Could someone please tell me where to get the full video description of this video? Thanks Kindly :)

  • What can you say....Ronnie Milsap!!!!!!!!!

  • nice job with the video but I'm not into this type of music. not a bad song though. sounds like country too much. I've never been fond of country ha.

  • Amazing song by one the greatest. Well made video, thanks for posting.

  • WOW !

  • great song sung my Ronnie Milsap he did an excellent job. when was this song published by R.Milsap, I never heard this one either Loved the video clips .

  • It's on his "My Life" album available on iTunes

  • Just got done listening to the George Strait version, and it's good too. Really love Milsap's lower voice though, it gives it a more melancholy feel.

The video, by the way, is amazing. Great job finding all the clips.

  • Nice choices on the movie shots, although some were a little funny because I recognized the scene and remembered what was happening in the movie at that point (Seven, for example). Brad Pitt getting the crap kicked out of him by a serial killer doesn't really blend well with a sad love song. But the shot works if you didn't know where it came from. :-)

  • This is a great song !!! George Strait recorded this song too. He did an awesome job on it as well. Can't remember which CD it was on though.

  • i wanna say his first

  • It was called George Strait. Came out in 2000.

  • This is actually on his second CD ago. Awesome song, though.

  • I'm a big Ronnie Milsap fan from back in the early '70s and never heard this song. Just great - can't understand why it's obscure, but thanks for making it available.

  • The fact that you're a big fan and haven't heard this should tell you why it's obscure: not many people have heard it.

    Just sayin'

  • You did a great job of putting together movie clip that fit this song to a Tee. Keep up the great work on videos on Ronnie Milsap he is my favorite.

  • just perfect

  • Could you put up a list of the clips you used? I don't know half these movies, and some of them look very interesting just from a second or two of expression.

  • I put the list in the video description section - too long for this section. Thanks.

  • Great song. Who did this video? It is one of the best non studio or studio for that matter videos I have seen and I am looking for someone to produce at least 2 for original Cd to be released early next 2010.

  • I just made it in Movie Maker. Took some time, had fun doing it.

  • I think the best obscure Ronnie Milsap song was "Turn that Radio On," a number 4 in 1991.

  • love this song he is one of the best that's why we don't him on the radio.

  • I loved this song when George Strait did it. I think Ronnie does it even better.

  • Every song the great Ronnie Milsap records will be instantly "obscure" as long as country radio refuses to play his music.

There's a very simple reason why we can't hear Ronnie Milsap on the radio anymore....Nashville would find it too unsettling to hear a 65 year old man blow away every manufactured country clone on the charts in 2009!

  • right on man

  • I have never heard this song and have seen Ronnie Milsap twice in concert. Thanks for the gem, I love this tune

  • Great colaporation of videos.Great song of Ronnie M. 5 stars! It's a hit with me.

  • You are right, Lisa. This is is a good song. So good, I will overlook your use of "colporation"....HAHA...miss ya...

  • What a wonderful video...something about rain and tears togehter...

    Ronnie Milsap is awesome!!
