@mrsfrd - Revenge of the Maths! If you're using bandanas, just suffice all the math to say slice off the top corner of each bandana about two inches down. Should allay the pain of Pythagorean Theorizing.

You're very welcome! I find that the concept of cutting a hole into a square of fabric and then adding a waistband can swing toward the try-try-fail-try-frown side of possible outcomes.
