A friend gave me a link once to a story that explained they were an all-female rock combo, initially with a name like The Female Beatles, before releasing at least one 45 single on Columbia, #43484, 1966: "It Won't Last Long," b/w "Tears (Fill the Hours)".

Sadly, I can't find this link to update my info, but I'll keep trying.
