alright then, recently a mini plant just lost a few thousand jobs, giving 1 hours notice.

these workers have no skills to speak of, which is why they work in a car plant, so they cant just jump into another trade.

the car industry is definately not hiring any more, so no jobs there.

it would take about a year for them to train as a plumber or carpenter, remember they have no skills so their pretty much stuck with labour.

so, how are they supposed to live for that year?

It wont be a brilliant life but it is better than nothing and should have done better in school, sad but true

however there will always be people who find themselves in these situations by no fault of their own, and you should respect that.
