Great movie! Very extreme! So sad that it is based on true events... My friends (ex boyfriend) parents sent him away to a boot camp/rehab for no reason (he was completely fine... The worst he did was smoke a little weed-but who doesn't when your a teen?)... I could never imagine sending my child away!!! If a child is THAT bad then bring them somewhere local for help, no reason to send them away.

I saw the movie but it wasn't really good. It was okay. The basic idea is really good. Boot Camps are omnipresent and the world has to know about their cruelty. This boot camp was nothing compare with the others in America or somewhere else. If you really want to know something about this topic I approve you " Boot Camp" by "Morthon Rue". It kinda changed my...life. That might sound stupid, but that's the way it is.

@Mellevourne wtf are you talking about? im in the army and boot camp is not cruel in any way. the only way you can mistake that is that they tear you down. but they do so only to bring you back up futher than you've ever been to make you a better you. they do not beat you or treat you outrageously. they make it tough so you learn to get through tough situations you'd be otherwise to afraid to overcome. dont knock it til you try it

I'm talking about those that take "difficult" adolescents and re- educate them, if necessary with violence. @Mellevourne I was in the army too. In the first week they pull alot of bullshit brainwashing lectures. For instance, they played the army commercial to get us pumped after we all got our ass kicked. Its subliminal brainwashing to make us feel as though we need the army to make us feel good about ourselves. Its all shit, they make it so you cant think for yourself and just follow orders instinctively. Its a false reassurance of confidence. basic is nothing but a psychological camp.

Very good film IMO. And lol I agree, that Gregory kid [Who played Ben] is so fuckin hot. As for the characters, Mila was ok. I actually thought that Trina,Danny,Ben and Norman were the best.

And what's interesting to me is that in my video store, you had to be 18 to rent this. Which I don't get. Same with the Unrated thing. I mean yeah, kids shouldn't see it, but there's nothing in the film that's overly graphic.
