PSP does run PS1 games...and also I have to agree with demonslayer901, PS1 VP has better graphics, this VP DS version should be superior than the PS1 VP.

and PS1 have more power than a DS, so PS1 games have better graphic than a DS, that is what i meant

those N64 games for DS is not really the real N64 games, they are games remade by Nintendo that were ported to the DS. and DS don't have the power to emulate a N64, PSP does, but the PSP N64 emulator is not perfect either.

this what i think of the power of all the game system:

DS: makes impressive 2D games, but sucks at 3D games

PSP: superior 2D games, impressive 3D games

modern home game consoles: superior 3D games, but a waste of time and power to develope 2D games on them, way too powerful

Well my psp can emulate every ps1 game at full speed, it isn't slow at all actually.

What do you mean by specials?

Final attack? if that's what you mean you just have to get 100 hits , then press : A, Y, X, B .

You can't do special attack with every weapon, only some weapons allow you to use them

1) Assign your character weapons that attribute them with a special (it will tell you in the description whether or not a weapon has a special or not

2) During battle, you have to chain attacks so that gauge on the bottom left fills up to 100

Can someone explain to me how the hell did the fourth character get to combo after the finishing moves, then use her one? I played VP before, and I swear I was bug-eyed at that.

4th plater got a finishing move because her melee attacks knocked out red/gold orbs which increase the number of times she can attack. attacks can be continued after finishing attacks in this game, to make it easier to execute 4 in one go.

Karma, in the english version is called 'sin' and on every battle you have to reach a certain level of 'sin' for storyline purposes. it can be accrued by overkill, or by using the plume.

The VP on psp is just a port of the PSX VP, I believe that is what they meant. While this is a 'new-game' on the DS, rather then putting it on the PSP.

And? Regardless if it was a port or not, we still got a VP game. Before Lenneth,I actually only seen people play it on emulators, and since it was a rare game to get and pretty expensive on ebay, my guess is that Lenneth was probably the first time for many people to play VP. SE is just trying to market some more rpgs to the DS. Chances are that you'll probably get another VP game for the PSP,but since this was put on the DS,it was probably put on there for a reason perhaps for control purposes.
