  • This interview misses a key opportunity to get casual riders to just get out and ride. They spent most of the time randomly picking parts to talk about like the dude's shoes and how his wheels are harder to steal. This guy sounded stoned or something. I know he's taking time out to speak about bikes but this misses the point entirely. None of the important aspects of the bike or commuting were touched upon. The worst part was when the lady joked about using a neighbor's shower. WTF TERRIBLE.

  • My commute is 6.5 miles (quick route) or over 30 if I want.. Gears! for hills and tailwinds, racks and bags, fenders, generated lights, 37 tires and toe clips. somedays, light touring bike with clipless- light and fast... passing cars can be fun! If more people started bike commuting I would open a clothing store... over 60% over weight and I could sure ues seeing more healthy women!

  • i have a lot of people ask me whats a good bike less than $200

and i tell them buy a used bike made in the 70s or 80s

as they are way better and any $400~$600 bike you can buy today

i have a 40 year old raleigh that will probably last 100 years and definitely outlive me.

todays rubber or plastic is NOT the same as whats made in the 70s and 80s
