People keep comparing this song to Titanic's "My Heart Will Go On," and while I do see some similarities, I think this song is way more beautifully written and sung. Also, the musical arrangement is stunning.
She sounds beautiful, but she is merely the lovely instrument through which we see into Tuomas' heart. Quite frankly I am like 95% sure this song is about a) loss of innocence and wanting to be a child again, and b) Tarja.
I agree that this song gives us a direct view into Tuomas' heart, but I don't think it's about innocence at all. I think its about his dream of a love. The love inside him, that hurts through his loneliness. And about Tarja... who knows, there are many things inside Tuomas we cannot know.

@MysticMoon333...I absolutely agree with you 110%. I've listened to this song quite a bit and I have to try hard to hold back the tears every time. This song and her voice is almost too much to handle emotionaly, it just gets to you. I havent quite put my finger on what shes singing about in this song (maby im a idiot) but I think it means different things to different people. This song strikes a nerve with anyone who listens to it and if not then you dont know that good music is.
