We're playing this in my band. It's HARD. I hate cut time. Oh well. I do like this peice though. My sisters and I love fantasia, which is where I first heard it, and it's my favorite peice. I think you guys did a pretty good job on it. It is really hard to play. Right now it's our worst song. Good job.

It was alright. Still not totally Mussorgsky though. You have to have FULL orchestra, which means STRINGS INCLUDED. I'm just about to play this in my orchestra and i really wish we had the band involved too, but our band sucks so much ass that they're not even allowed to consider this piece. Sad, eh? Anyways, good enough job on a great piece. Really intense piece if played right...then again, I don't think anyone could do this piece justice the way he thought of it...

The part where the clarinets and saxes have a waterfall sounds really off when it switches from the clarinets.

Yes, I know it's off. Oh well. It's not like the concert was 2 years ago or anything and we can make it better...oh wait yeah it was. And by the way, the tempo is NOT slow (near 120 bpm), it's just slower than Mussorgsky wanted it. And it's because that's how the conductor decided to take it, it's what he believed the piece is.
