  • gorgeous!

  • This is pretty

  • is china glaze a really good inexpensive nail polish? what about sinful colors?

  • this is really soooo amazing! i will try it!

  • Where did you get the China Glaze shotglass?

  • @MaggotLlama In a Christmas set from 2010 that you can still get on ebay, with Cheers To You and Midnight Kisses :)

  • my gosh how much patience do you need for this?

  • @steamingleo haha, alot xD

  • What do you use to dip the fake nail in the water ?

  • @kayceeroser97 Its just a wooden kebab stick snapped in half, with some sticky tac on the end holding the fake nail in place......it doesn't work brilliantly cause if the sticky tac gets too wet it won't stick...but it works well enough

  • Does the colours have to be the same? Will it work with others?

  • @AwesomeJanice Lots of different polishes work, you just have to experiment :)

  • how do you get the design off the fake nail on to your natural nails?

  • @MzKurster Erm.... well I don't, I dipped my natural nails into the water.

  • I have trouble trying to get my nail polish to spread in the water... the first drop does, but all the others stay in their gross little drop of nail polish and don't do anything.... what should i do???

  • @ShannonB3343 1. Pull the first drop over the entire surface to the edges, let it dry, and pull it out. That will clean any residue from the surface of the water.

    2. Use room temp water

    3. Try it with new bottles of China Glaze creme polish

    4. Use mineral or filtered water

    5. Use a shot glass so that the polish can't spread out too far (which makes it dry quicker)

    6. Say a prayer and cross your fingers xD

  • @IndigoNova1 Thank you so much!! I'll try out your tips tonight!!!

  • I personally think your designs are better :) Great job!

  • the water must be mineral or i can use normal water(from my taps) ??

if it must be mineral, why ??

  • @mstar998 You can use tap water, but often the polish doesn't spread well in it, so ppl use mineral instead :)

  • @IndigoNova1 Oh i get it now. Thank you.. && yes, the design is BEAUTIFUL. ! *.*

  • i Do i KNow The Water iss Room Temp ?

  • @sweetbuns90 I leave a bottle of mineral water in the room overnight :)

  • Wow I really love your design! I'm really impressed, it is so pretty! I'll try it, thanks for your advices! :)

  • @Amarensways You're welcome, glad you like it!

  • I like yours better ;)

  • can i use any kind or brand of nail polish?

  • @xephann07 Yep, some will work, some won't, you just have to experiment :)

  • I love your natural nails! I can't stand the "claw" nails look, so it's nice to see some short nails with awesome designs on them! :)

  • Do you paint the nail any color before dipping it in?

  • @IloveStrawberryJello I normally paint them in one layer of the palest shade beforehand :)

  • I have tried to do that with water but it doesn´t work. I do not why

  • @ics2209 The water has to be room temperature or it wont work. Try checking that next time!

  • @ics2209 I put my water thru the coffee maker then add small bits of cool water & just wait for it to cool down, trying it every minute or so until it spreads easily but doesn't try quickly. PATIENCE! it took me about 2 hours to do the designs on all my nails.

  • Do I must use MINERAL water?

  • @TheMarGC Of course not! But if the polish isn't spreading well enough in the water, you can try mineral water instead :)

  • @IndigoNova1 ok thanks :)

  • @IndigoNova1 I use filtered but I'm going to try mineral. I did this design sort of. Marbling hasn't been easy for me. I know practice practice...I painted mine white, and i changed from a small plastic cup to the shot glass. The shot glass size helped I think. The flowers were a 'no go' I'm afraid :(

  • Why are your nails red?

  • cute !!

  • LOVE IT!!! I am gonna try it next time i do my nails

  • @blackstarkata Awesome xD

  • I LOVE THESE!

  • no me sirven ningun esmalte que tengo ,ni con agua templada.....

  • i think none of brazilian nail polish works well kkkkkkkkk ;/

  • @Slotcaramba Really? Almost every brand of polish has a few which will work for marbelling

  • i always wondered, do you use an especial nail polish to make this marble effect?

  • @Slotcaramba Nope, just regular polish, tho you do have to experiment cause some work and some don't :)

  • That looks amazing!

  • myy nail polish isnt spreading ing the waterr!! pleasee helpp mee !! i tryedd all myy colorss andd they all dont spreadd!! i need help!!

  • @BEAUTIFULBREE8911 You need to use room temp filtered water, or bottled water, and don't drop it in from too high up :)

  • @IndigoNova1 thankk youh soo much andd why doo myy colorss collaborate together ?? am i mixing them too much??

  • @BEAUTIFULBREE8911 Yep, I've lost count of the amount of water marble videos I've seen where I'm like 'ok, stop there, it looks great' and then they draw 10 more lines in the polish, ending up with a big messy mixed up splodge :/

So be confident, and practice beforehand (fake nails are great for that). Watch SimpleLittlePleasue's channel, she always knows exactly how many times she's gonna draw and in which direction....less is more I think :)

  • I should try this with lavander and silver.... Or maybe sage green and jasmine yellow....

  • @4everWhitewolf Nice!

  • Absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of Blue Willow china. Once I get more practice I'd really love to try this one!

  • wow! i usually think water marbling looks tacky, but this is really cool!! i love the flowers and dots... that just makes it awesome!

  • @kelseypm4 I'm happy to have changed your mind!

  • I just did this today and it looks awesome!!!thanx for the tutorial i even got compliments from my husband;)

  • @erikanjon10 Awesome xD

  • 😜🌺

  • Me encanta ! ... Mucho, mucho, mucho!!! For sure i'll try!

  • @ROCA6904 Gracias xD

  • Hello, i think im starting to annoy you, lol, but i would love to do a collaboration video with you sometime. I dont know what the theme would be yet, but let me know of you are interested. Thanks so much!

    --LabsLovePrettyNails

    :)

  • That's so pretty!! Whoa!! :O

  • @hphgforevah145 Thank you :)

  • This is such a beautiful design! I love it! I am guessing no base coat when doing water marbeling?

  • @lilliankale Thanks! Do your base coat and then a layer of the palest shade your marbelling with, then dunk them in the design....you can see me do water marbelling on my own nails on the water marble playlist on my channel :)

  • Can I use Essence nail Polish? Please answer me. I love this video and i would like to do it. <3

  • @DieSchneqqe I've never used Essence polish, but all brands can work, just give them a try :)

  • this was awsome ur cold in doing nails are u a nail artist

  • Just want to say I absolutely loved what you did with this water marbeling, I would've never thought the simple addition of a small design would make marbeling look even cooler than usual.

Also, I used your tutorial and recreated this design in my blog. nailsbytawny.blogspot.com Thank you

  • @hyprchik09 Thank you so much <3

  • water wouldn't stay on nail if you take it out straightly, not like that :} just an advise

  • This is beautiful. BTW how do u get the design on ur nails? do u dip ur finger in the glass?

  • @ladybads95 Yep....I have 5 water marbles on my water marble playlist, and you can see me do my natural nails in 3 of them :)

  • I just want to say that i love your nail tutorials!! This design is my absolute favorite! I went out and got firtst matee just because of this video! When i was out, i also got the essie matte top coat to do your matte studded nails. I love love love your videos!! I also would like to know if it would be okay if i made a video that was based off of some of your designs? I would give credit. Thanks you soooooooo much for making videos!

    --LabsLovePrettyNails

  • @LabsLovePrettyNails First Mate is an amazing colour, one of my all time favourites :D

Of course you can make videos from my designs, I'd love to see them, and yep just mention that you were inspired by me, thanks hun <3

  • @elizarules11411 Nope, I filmed this 8 times with a Nails Inc blue and it didn't work, then finally gave in and used my precious First Mate by China Glaze, which is probably my favourite polish ever so I wasn't happy about that.......China Glaze and OPI work best for me, but every polish in every brand is different so you have to experiment :)

  • I'm in love with this design. I'm going to have to try it.

  • My mind has been blown. I can't even. I liked this before I even watched it. Wow.

  • @EliAmbrosia Aw thank you, that's so nice x

  • that is so cool

  • this is crazy cool lol

  • ♥ I Love This ♥

  • this is art , seriously...

  • @aysenurnilufer Thank you :)

  • I love this!!

  • Beautiful!!! You should do the purple version??!!!

  • what is the sticky stuff you are using to stick the stick to the nail?

  • @xElectricRaiinbowz white blu tac :)

  • LINDO!

  • They are soo pretty!!!!!

  • @SillySparkl3z Absolutely....I tried filming this video 8 times with a Nails Inc polish then had a tantrum, gave up, and got the China Glaze out lol

  • This. Looks. Absolutely. STUNNING! :D

  • @nailartist4life Thank. You. So. Much! :D

  • SOS SOS SOS! My nail polish will not spread out. What should I do HELP ME! Pleace!!!! Some tips? Pleace :(!

  • @DenChokoladeGlade Not all polishes spread out in water...try these tips

    - Use room temp bottled water

    - Add thinner to your polish so its not too thick

    - Try lots of different polishes, China Glaze works really well

    - Practice on fake nails before you start your manicure, thats what i do so that I know exactly which polishes will work and which won't

  • water marble nail art looks so amazing <3 but there's no way i'd be patient enough to do that to every nail.

  • @anoziraflaminghot

you can dip more than one finger in at once... when i want to do in fast i do my pointer finger, middlefinger and ringfinger together and the thumb and pinky. takes a little practise but it's way faster

  • @MrsxEris i shall practice it. not anticipating my chances of messing it up entirely too much :P

  • do we HAVE to paint our nails white? please answer

  • @FrZZyFr0g Yep, the marble is too thin to work on its own, you need a solid colour under it to make the colours pop :)

  • @FrZZyFr0g well, it looks better, but you don't HAVE to. I don't, and my water marble nails usually looks fine.

  • @create1food These ones are Nailene Super Short Active Fit Nails from Boots :)

  • @create1food These ones are Nailene Super Short Active Fit Nails from Boots :)

  • Hey!! I have been looking everywhere online for the China Glaze shot gass.. where did you get it?? Please Respond... Thanks!

    ~~LabsLovePrettyNails

  • Awww cute!

  • What a cute twist on marbling -- really adorable :)

  • 1:51 YEAH EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN! That was happen when i draw into the nail polish, in the water.

  • @gsmmeid If that's happening then the polish has dried too much. You either need to use slower drying polishes, work faster, or try room temp water (cold or hot will dry the polish faster)

  • Water tips

    1) filtered water room temp. Works best

    2) tap water room temp works

    Ok i would recomend if

Using tap to use a smaller glass so the nail polish spreads alot (personal experience)

    3) try ur best to use non hot water dosnt spread very nicely hope this helps

LIKE THIS SO PEOPLE CAN C

  • Do You Have To Use Just Regular Water ?

  • @Daya6116 Yep

  • is this possible with real nails? do you dip in the whole finger?

  • @euapap I've done it on my real nails in my other water marble videos :)

  • its so neat !

  • Did you use the same method to get the design on your natural nails?

  • @MissSarah1864 Yep, I've done marbles on my natural nails in some of my other water marble videos :)

  • I love this design!!!

  • So beautifulllll ! X

  • is it just me or is the bowl your using have CHINA GLAZE SYMBOLS ON THEM!!!!

  • @ILikeCheese770 Haha, yep, its a China Glaze shot glass from a set I got last year, from their 2010 Xmas collection XD

  • @IndigoNova1 thats soo coool

  • where can I get a dotting tool ?

  • @imyourbubblegum Buy them from ebay or bornprettystore . com, or use a toothpick, bobby pin, or a pen with no ink left in it :)

  • what is mineral water cuz everytime i try water marble the nailpolish doesnt spread

  • @alicianaughtymia Bottled water with no bubbles, or you could try filtered water :)

  • i have a question... how do u not get the nail polish stuck to the toothpick

  • @Dark3moNight You mean the stick holding the nail? I wrap tape around the end of it :)

  • China Glaze makes shot glasses? Awesome.

  • @6895Anna Haha, yep xD

  • Obvzam gnna like dis...der has to be dat 1 dislikee..ughh

  • What brand of paint.

I do this every brand? Please tell me. :)

  • @FaiChillOut China Glaze and OPI work well, but you need to experiment as every polish is different

  • this is impressive!!! very cute! it seems like it would be very time consuming...about how long does it take you to do this? :)

  • @mickyunit About an hour, it does take a long time to do but you could always use a larger bowl and do a bigger marble, then dip 2,3,4 or even 5 nails at once. That would save a lot of time :)

  • This is honesty amazing and so beautiful!!! Love it

  • @LegitLove15 Thank you <3

  • What shops can you get china glaze in England?

  • @LBP2Fangirl No idea, I get them from american sellers on ebay uk, they cost a fiver each :)

  • @LBP2Fangirl - you can get china glaze from Sally's Beauty shops and from Ideal Hair and Beauty UK (find them on facebook) but ebay is where I got a lot of mine as well. Check out Tiffany's Beauty on ebay. Beverly Beauty in California does Zoya polish cheaper and when buying a few, the postage of £6 makes it worthwhile getting it from them for £5.95 per polish.

  • I tried it but they didn't come out like that :(

    Still beautiful tho

  • One of the best tutorials i have seen. i will try this one soon! thanks :)

  • @jayizatlast Thank you!

  • I still don't know if I should use sink water or if I HAVE to use mineral water

  • @mari194157 Try sink water and if the polish doesn't spread properly then give mineral or filtered water a go :)

  • wow that is so pretty!!
