Fedulov is well-known adventurer and swindler from Kursk. He helped for party of Putinmen many times. (Usually he did that for good money.) He tried to join into party Yabloko in Kursk. But Kuperman is old Kursk Yabloko lieder and a honest man. And first region Yablokoman said him no. So he joined in Moscow part of Yabloko.

(I suppose that Putinmen helped him in all steps of this project.) Mitrokhin is new Moscow lieder of Yabloko. He said to Kuperman that Fedulov is to become new lieder of Kursks Yabloko now. So Kuperman left party. Fedulov have became new region Yabloko lieder. He and other Putins agents can destroy Democratic Yabloko from inside now.

Not like today, i go out sometimes and look at people at how angry they are at modern times. People weren't like that 25 years ago. Perhaps it was 90% better for the people in your area, but there were a lot of places in the Soviet Union who would disagree. My whole area was the entire country... everyone...EVERYONE i talked to has agreed that life during the soviet times was indeed better except ofcourse the rich ones who are making tons of money..they are denying it. So it`s a big question whether the collapse of USSR was good even in the Western point of view or bad in it. Becuase Germany and France want to have such an ally to prevent some USA actions as we saw many times since the Iraqi war. Spain signed an agreement with Russia in order to create a new security system in Europe which doesn`t include USA. So, from the international point of view, the collapse of USSR wasn`t so good because many countries think they need a strong USA rival.

USSR was the rival and new Russia is becoming such a rival but it still must return thr control in the post - Soviet states in order to be such a country what it`s doing at the present moment in order to become the greatest superpower again.

It was Gorbachev who destroyed the multipolar world and we should rebuild it again. And the collapse also caused the great chaos in all the post - Soviet states because that was the greatest crisis in all the areas of society so most people lived below the so - called poverty level in the post - Soviet states - d`you think it was good?

It was far worse than the present financial crisis or even than the Great Depression in USA in the 30s so I don`t think the peoples of the former Soviet republics suppose it`s good what happened to them.

Gorbachev had an ability of rebuilding the Soviet system without its collapsing as he himself said but he made the huge mistakes so he caused that collapse and all the consequences of it we still have all over the world - yes, it influenced the whole world in bad way as I already said so I wouldn`t find his actions good in any case.

He could change political regime and make it far more democratic without collapsing. The Union`s collapsing was the greatest tragedy in the 20th century Russian history. It caused 1000% inflation and 25% unemployment so that a lot of people lived below the so-called poverty level

History lesson; The USSR was collapsing already. Fact is is that you can't hold people captive who don't want you there! Gorbachev did the right thing. Do you still want the threat of bombs hanging over you? Didn't think so.

In 90s, US thought Russia completely lost but its weakness in 90s was mainly caused by the transition from the plan economy to the market one. The process is still continuing but economy already is far better. And the dissolvation of the Soviet Union was a result of the battle for power between the center and the republics and dividing power and economy among the former Soviet elite people as I already said.

The only reason is that USA never won in the cold war and the war oficcially finished in 1989 before the collapse , if you know the history. The Union collapsed because of the internal reasons I mentioned below. Of course, Russia had the giant decrease in economy after the collapse so it was weak in 90s. But Putin`s rule brought about the relative stability and the Russian position in the foreign affairs became stronger.

The Americans think the collapse of the Soviet Union took place because of their actions and believe it was their victory in the cold war. If it`s so, why does new Russia still have the nuclear power? Why is Russia an independet state and not occupied by the Americans like Iraq?

Dividing power and national economy among the former CPSU elite in the Soviet republics was the main reason for the collapse of USSR but it became possible only because of the center`s weakening and that`s because Gorbachev was incompetent leader: a lot of the empty and beautiful words he always said and no useful actions at the same time.

Of course, there also were some nationalistic sentiments their leaving the Union also was based on, so that common people of the republics could support their elite.

So, the dissolvation of the Soviet Union was a result of the battle for power between the center that became far weaker at that time and the republics which wanted independence from the center because their elite wanted to have all the power - why should they be second in Moscow under Gorbachev and the Soviet rule if they could leave the Union and became first in their republics?

Without supressions, the Baltic states wanted to leave the Union first and the rest followed them. Gorbachev was trying to create a new Union but failed because of the struggle for power with Yeltsin. Gorbachev lost and the republics elite won, leading to the collapse and the parade of the sovereignity.

But the destructive reforms of Mikhail Gorbachev led to weakening and the downfall, especially when he took away the right of Communists to be the only ruling party in the country and took away supression of the communist ideology.

But that right couldn`t be used because of the strength of the center. So all the post - Soviet states have their freedom at present thanks to the Soviet constitution of 1977. If there had been no such a constitution, they wouldn`t have left the Union. They`d still be some provinces of USSR or Russia (depending on a name the state would have).But they couldn`t leave while the center was strong.

I`ve just read information on the downfall of USSR. It wasn`t a Russian thinker who wrote that book, it was an American and he said that the collapse of the Soviet Union was mainly caused by the internal reasons. The main reason for the collapse was the national - territorial division of USSR existed since Lenin`s time and there was a right of republics to leave the Union as it was claimed in the Soviet constitution

and we havn`t still found a solution to many problems we had under Gorbachev though some problems were fixed by Putin (but not all of them). A lot of Russians suppose that Gorbachev destroyed the Union by purpose for money or for some other reasons. I hate him! Let him burn in hell !
