yea you can do My player without this, the only thing is, you will go undrafted and have to go to the D League and work your way up from there which would be kinda harder then being drafted to a team and just improving. Then you eventually get on to an NBA team and hopefully become one of the greatest

wait i have a couple questions and id like it to be answered. what do you do in the my player mode? and my other question is suppose u make an association in nba 2k10 (not online) could you use the player from the draft combine.

In my player mode you can get your guy drafted to the nba and play on a team and try to make it to a championship similar to the Madden NFL Superstar mode. And as far as the second question goes, we are not sure yet because 2k has not announced that but I have been wanting that too

you will then be an undrafted rookie and go to the summer league and if you do well you will get on a team. if not you go to the d-league
