i feel sad about how we have forgotten the meaning of christmas. it became a materialistic night, where we only think about presents and good meals, where Jesus as the reason of that night, is not worshiped as he deserves.
How many Lies do you think you have told in your life? Have you ever stolen anything, even something small? Have you ever looked at a person with lust? Ever used GOD's name as a curse word? If so, GOD sees you as a Lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Guilty will end up in Hell. That's not GOD's will. You broke GOD's laws, but Jesus paid your fine! (IF) you Repent, and trust in Christ alone, GOD will forgive every sin you have ever committed, and grant you Eternal life!
Jesus saves!!! All glory and honour be to almighty God! I can't wait to meet Jesus so that I may be saved and I may live with Him for eternity in everlasting peace! :-).
I lay in this wretched prison of time on earth knowing I will walk with GOD in heaven one day. The filth stains my hands as I pick broken men up pointing to GOD. Many choose to sink into the sewer of their own creation but, some see the beauty that is my LORD. "Thy kingdom come here on earth Father but not today" I pray for if there is one more soul that would hear HIS voice say "forgive them father for they know not what they do" and weep, then I will continue swimming the swamps of humanity.
Behold what manner of love the Father hath given unto us that we should be called the sons of God. I think if we truly realized the Glory of God in the Lord Jesus Christ, and who we are in Him, and the reality of the Heavenly Glory God has given to us as John 17 says -- we would transfigure. We would become like Him. We would see His face and become Heavenly -- and the glory within us -- Jesus Christ in us -- would EXPLODE in a DUNAMIS GRACE EXPLOSION. How soon it must be.
@graceexplosion You do realize that just after the quote from Paul in this video he continues to say "...of whom I AM the foremost." Not I was. Paul says "I am the chief of sinners." Yes we are new creations in Christ. Yes all things have past away and behold, all things have become new. But to claim any merit even in Christ is to take the glory that should be ascribed to Christ and focus it on yourself. You are a worthless sinner, but thanks be to God; we are loved by the Father.
@jayjaygee123 NO, I AM NOT A WORTHLESS SINNER!! I am the BRIDE OF CHRIST and Jesus does not MARRY a WORTHLESS SINNER. He marries someone OF HIS OWN IMAGE. Jesus Christ has restored to me the image of God the Father. That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. All my worth COMES from the Spirit of God who indwells me and of whom I AM BORN AS SPIRIT BORN OF HIS SPIRIT. To call me worthless is to call HIM worthless - I am of His Spirit.
@DallasTheGreat28 I think you sound like an apostate. The born-again church is INDEED the bride of Christ. To say differently is to deny salvation in and through Jesus Christ. You deny that we are the bride of Christ as the church as Ephesians 5 and the whole of scripture states -- you have denied ESSENTIAL SALVATION -- and Jesus Christ and are apostate.
@graceexplosion you are worthless but don't take that statement of fact as an insult, if you were worth anything that would take away from what Christ did on your behalf (if you are a true christian). the value that born again Christians have is not intrinsic to themselves, it is a gift from God. we are still worthless, He just chooses to love us in spite of that. therefore, we are valued beyond measure and God gets all the glory for it.
@anonazero You have a wrong paradigm. You think saints and God are in "competition". We're not in competition. Read John 17. We are one with God in Christ - we are the body of Christ. That God is Sovereign and that all good gifts come down from the Father of lights -- given. We are NOT worthless. We are born of God's Spirit as SAINTS. ANGELS are not "WORTHLESS" and neither are saints. Let us look at what Jesus says.
@graceexplosion if you logically looked at what you believed you'd see that what you believe places you as being responsible for your holiness (remember your unbiblical claim that if we realized something we'd transfigure? thats us doing something to be better.)
if you are in Christ then Christ is in you, absolutely, thats what the bible says but you still deserve hell for being a rebel against God. thats why His salvation is so significant... cause He didn't find worth in us.
@anonazero You're living in the past. The Bible says that those who are justified by faith pass from death to life and become a new creation. You can forget me living in the past as if I was not saved. What I was, I am no more and never will be again. I AM ETERNALLY SECURE IN MY SALVATION -- MY STATE OF BEING HAS CHANGED -- and I'm NOT GONNA LIVE LIKE I'M THE OLD PERSON RATHER THAN THE NEW PERSON IN CHRIST. I'm NOT THAT PERSON!! I'm a child of God in Christ. Yesterday's gone.
@graceexplosion MY FRIEND -- the PROCESS OF SANCTIFICATION IS... REVELATION... VIVIFICATION... AND SANCTIFICATION IN TRUTH - IN JESUS. Absolutely, WE GET FULL REVELATION OF JESUS -- see Him as HE IS... we will BECOME LIKE HIM!! We will TRANSFIGURE!! It's biblical, OF COURSE!! "Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." 1 John 3:2
@graceexplosion its interesting that you reference 1 john 3:2 because he is actually referring to a future state that we will be someday (after we pass into the coming age i.e. when we die).
that verse is talking about a present condition, a future condition, and a future revelation.... how you get "if we fully realized Jesus we would transfigure" is beyond me because that simply isn't in the text.
@anonazero Read Philippians 3. Death to self is Christian maturity referred to as resurrection from the dead. That's transfiguration which occurs at what some call "rapture". "Realize" is to have LIVING REVELATION ACTIVATED UNTO VIVIFICATION AND SANCTIFICATION IN TRUTH. It's not good to try to twist someone's words and be a faultfinder rather than seriously listening and submitting to God's Word and Spirit in rebellion and unbelief in the sinful nature. Don't twist my words.
@graceexplosion He see's no value, no worth, inherently in us and yet He chose to save sinners. this is called grace. it is a free gift. in other words, if we were worth something we'd be worthy to some degree and the bible is very clear that there ARE none righteous, no not one, and ALL deserve hell. we don't become deserving once we are saved, we just owe MORE and become empowered to actually please the Lord.
its ALL a gift. ALL of it. especially the value He places on you.
@anonazero You are STUCK, friend. ou are STUCK thinking and seeing from the position of an unsaved person in the flesh. Of course we were born children of wrath and had no merit as such. Yet, God had perfect grace upon us. We are NOT that child of wrath today. God is NOT having unmerited favor on a WORTHLESS SINNER at the moment of REGENERATION. We become a LITERALLY NEW CREATION, children of God, & ARE the righteousness of God in our new STATE OF BEING. I'm a saint, not a sinner.
@anonazero As stated you are stuck. I'm a Calvinist. I was saved wholly by God's grace in His Sovereign decision and power -- wholly by His own Spirit with ZERO merit as a sinner. BUT, you see, I BECAME BORN-AGAIN AND AM NOT THAT PERSON. I am holy, perfect, and blameless in Christ. THERE IS NO SIN YOU CAN "PIN" ON A SPIRIT BORN OF GOD. My spirit is holy even as God is holy -- and I am spirit not flesh. MERIT has nothing to do with it. We have Abba Father's Spirit by birth.
@graceexplosion here is what you said "God is NOT having unmerited favor on a WORTHLESS SINNER at the moment of REGENERATION."... you either mis-spoke or now realize that you were wrong in saying that. which is it?
i'm just trying to clarify a small but important theological point and you seem to be very emotional about it. i just wanted to point out that you are not actually holy, perfect, and blameless while in Christ, you are just viewed as that because His blood covers you.
@anonazero No, friend, bless you -- cuz I see you are sincere. But, we really ARE perfect at the moment of regeneration -- perfect spirits. We are spirits born of God in our most holy salvation -- those spirits are born of God's Spirit. Our identity in the sight of God is that spirit -- not our flesh. Literally changed into a holy being in identity.Hebrews 12:23
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn.... and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
@graceexplosion in the end it seems to not matter but it does when you start talking about our actual worth. we will never stop deserving hell. one day we will be perfect and free of our sinful flesh in a fallen world BUT until that day comes we struggle. to acknowledge this isn't to invite sin into our life or to doubt God's gift it is actually empowering to see walk in the knowledge that we are utterly dependent upon Christ.
@anonazero We are perfect in our spirits at the moment of regeneration -- that is a perfect spirit "born". The problem is the flesh, and the sinful nature coming through the flesh. That is not "us". Jesus is God, Savior, High Priest, Lamb of God, Author, Perfector of our faith. We are one with God in Christ -- we are His body -- His bride -- united with Him by the Spirit in salvation. I don't deserve hell according to my holy spirit born of God. I fit perfectly in Heaven. :)
@graceexplosion being legally justified (declared not guilty) doesn't make you actually righteous (blameless). as you said, God does all the work and we will forever be in His debt. we never stop deserving Hell and He never stops keeping His sheep.
if you are saved you seem to be a fairly new christian, either way the zeal is great, just temper that with knowledge. also, in all things seek edification (building up) not just to win arguments.
@anonazero No!! I actually AM the ACTUAL truly BLAMELESS and righteous person in Christ. I am a child of light and a spirit born of God -- and I am holy. But, of course, it is a state of being in union with Jesus my Husband in His Spirit. (I have been saved since age 3... reading the KJV since I was 5... read so fast folks think it's speedreading... have PROBLY - seriously - read the Bible more cover to cover than almost anyone. :) *It's been a few decades. :)
@anonazero My friend, think about it. I am LITERALLY BAPTIZED INTO... Jesus Christ. My spirit born of the Holy Spirit is FULLY immersed in Jesus Christ. :) I'm perfect!! :) As that spirit born of God BAPTIZED INTO Jesus Christ. I am 100% IN HIM in my spirit -- and therefore I am holy even as He is Holy. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am spirit not flesh. Get it?? BAPTIZED -- immersed... fully... in my spirit. I'M IN ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION ALREADY IN CHRIST!! :)
@graceexplosion *Now, what happens in this BODY OF FLESH that my spirit battles is a battle for sanctification. My entirely sanctified spirit born of God (baptized into Christ) is battling SATAN to drive Satan out of this body. The sin I do -- I don't do. I'm a holy spirit in Christ. The sin I "appear to do" in this body -- is not me. The devil is the sinful nature. It's not me. I'm fighting the devil, the flesh, this world -- but I'm that ENTIRELY SANCTIFIED SPIRIT.
@anonazero Friend, please read my plethora of comments. I just have to tell you -- you have slavish fear going on that is not filial fear. I'll tell you why. You think in terms of DEBT. But with God there is no debt. "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors." God is not sitting in Heaven saying, "You owe me the debt for your sin and what you deserve." Abba Father is not like that at ALL. Jesus paid it all. Paid in full. There is no debt. There's no debt in love - no demand. Grace.
@graceexplosion it's not work, because we're not slaves, but children - still, the father demands that his children listen to his commands, or he spanks them. A parent hates to hurt their child, but sometimes it's the only thing to do when they refuse to listen
@krononomikon The Bible says that we are slaves of righteousness. Our righteousness is not of self apart from Christ but rather God Himself birthing us as spirits -- as His FULL CHILDREN according to His Spirit from Whom we are born as spirits. These spirits are in flesh bodies right now, because we are not fully mature. We are to focus on WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST. (God spanks flesh -- not His children in their spirits -- becuz we're entirely sanctified in our spirits.) Think.
@krononomikon May I please say this?? You're not seeing the relationship with God as I know and understand GRACE and THE FATHER and HIS LOVE for HIS CHILDREN. You seem to speak as if God is making demands, then spanking us. At the level of THE SPIRIT. God is empowering our spirits in love. He is our SOURCE and our LIFE. Our spirits bear witness with the Spirit that we are the sons of God. God is strengthening our spirits to rise in LOVE, not making performance demands.
@graceexplosion The spirit is indeed perfect, because the heart is for God. However, as Jesus said, "watch and pray; the spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak".
He certainly does punish disobedience, as part of being faithful is walking in that faith. This is why, when Jesus said you must continue to forgive people in Luke 17, the Apostles asked for more faith. It's a difficult thing to forgive someone without having a changed heart... Deuteronomy 8:5
@krononomikon Amen, the spirit is perfect. Not merely in INTENT. But in SUBSTANCE. The spirit is PERFECT. (Yes, God does punish disobedience. Yet, Jesus has taken all punishment and God says we are justified.) This "changed heart" you speak of -- the work is complete in the moment of regeneration. The spirit is PERFECT and complete in Christ. We are not the flesh. We are the perfect spirit.
@anonazero Stop twisting my words. GOD HAS JUSTIFIED ME -- DECLARED ME RIGHTEOUS. Who ARE YOU TO CONDEMN ME?? It is GOD who justifies me and against whom you fight when you try to call me, as a spirit born of God and child of light, a "worthless sinner". Get thee behind me, Sattan. That's the devil speaking through you. That's not the witness of scripture that "nothing changed" when we were regenerated. REGENERATED. A NEW GENERATION. A NEW CREATION. Our nature is HOLY.
@anonazero Where is your spiritual armour against Satan?? You must wear the breastplate of righteousness, declaring yourself the righteousness of God in Christ. You're caught in a chokehold by Satan. Break it with the Word. 2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 6:7
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
@anonazero Jesus says we are unworthy of Him in the flesh. In the Spirit we are accounted worthy. Matt 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.Jesus says that all who ENTER HEAVEN are accounted WORTHY. Luke 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: (Our spirits are worthy.)
@jayjaygee123 Paul also said that the sin he does (Romans 7) he does not do -- but rather it is sin working in his mortal body the flesh. Paul states that he is NOT the sin he does. Paul had not yet attained perfection as he stated in Phillipians 3. The scripture states, "I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST". I AM RIGHTEOUS IN CHRIST. I AM NOT A WORTHLESS SINNER. SATAN IS THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN. We overcome Satan by the word of our testimony & the blood of Jesus.
@David578593 It was uploaded before Christmas :). Just not by Lane, but by a group called 'RealTruthMatters', you should check them out. I'm assuming Lane's just appreciated the video they uploaded himself, and decided to upload it just for more to see it, since the RealTruthMatters guys haven't got that much recognition yet.
Its a very beautiful and a nice tale, though not a shred of reality, evidence and skepticism can be found here.
Nice and uplifting background music though! :)
