  • darn a 4 min ad for 2 min video

  • Criminal Minds is a US show about serial killers. The serial killers have got more and more demented each episode and frankly I wonder how this is affecting the crime rate in the US.

  • The show is refreshing if you are fed up with all the gory shows coming out of the US. How many dead bodies do we have to see being dissected on the US show CSI or the other show Bones before we get sick of them. And of course the weekly serving of demented serial on the US show Criminal Minds. Seriously, do the producers/directors who make that kind of drivel realise they are feeding the minds of already criminal minds walking among us? Brit shows have more class, and are believable.

  • This show is way better than 24 and is not propaganda. As a matter of fact, they do question what they do & even how they do it. They've had more cast turnover than most shows in televised history. The three original agents were all gone by the end of the 3rd season for various reasons and none of them nice.

  • It's not spin in the sense of pro war on terror, but by proxy, it's making MI5 seem like a 'wow! Wouldn't it be cool to be in MI5!? Wonder if i coudl join' type of way.

Sheep or Sheep dog, you decide?

  • im tellin u now you would hate MI5. Shit Pay. And when you die your family would never know that they did that to save britain

  • Why would you want to be in such a job? World history shows that world powers come and they go. Pick any great power from history and they would have had their undercover people working in the background to keep them from being overwhelmed by some enemy force. History proves that all great powers rise to glory and then to into decline. Their secret agents or people in the shadows go with them. It is how it has always been. Time marches on regardless. I love the show though. The best on tv.

  • Its much, much, much better, much more realistic than 24

  • Sorry to burst your buble, but agents are recruited by MI5 case officers in real life, and are controlled by certain people, MI5 does not employ official agents as part of its staff.

These people in (spooks) do not act realisticaly and in fact far more wrecklessly than MI5 does in real life. MI5 does not attack or arrest suspects themselves but runs information and profiles on targets known to the U.K. here an abraod. And manages cases of security refered by other agencies like MI6 (SIS).

  • @headphones222 lol mate. What your saying is only half true. When the stakes are high enough, aka an immanent terror attack. They will go to those lengths.

  • @splinter360

Please visit their own website, these people are also not "immune" from prosecution or above the law. They have been involved in some questionable circumstances I agree but they have to behave within the framework of UK legislation and international legislation else there is no point in it existing.

  • @headphones222 Also you can apply to become a junior officer of the internet mate.

  • @splinter360

You can submit a CV like a lot of other companies, but thats probably a micro fraction of the actual process. With all the interviews and stuff.

  • @headphones222 Fair enough. I agree their not immune from the law. We have to remember spooks is a drama, so they might blow some things out of proportion. So yh their not immune, but for instance if an officer commits a crime for operational purposes, such as assault or theft, the charge won't even get anywhere near a court.

  • @splinter360

Thats really an unprovable assertion. They obviously wouldnt want the cases to be too public. But committing theft and assault with the people in the other country apparently having things covered up is not exactly covert...

  • @headphones222 You clearly didn't understand what I said. What I meant was for instance if an officer was undercover in say a criminal gang, and they had to commit assault, theft etc in order to keep their cover. They would. They would not be charged for this. Ever heard of the Official secrets act? It covers a lot of things. Including this conversation where having

  • no. she wont. cos you're not gullible lol

  • HAHA, nice 1.

  • How in ANY way could this be considered propaganda?...So far in Spooks the cast have been shot, had their faces boiled off, hung themselves, gone barking mad and questioned their jobs at every step....yeah real positive spin doctoring :)

  • yep, They had them being taken hoistage

  • It's more sublimunal

  • this is just like 24. gov't propaganda.
