Unlike a lot of other chassidic sects who like to keep themselves to themselves, Chabad's main approach is outreach, going to places that others won't so there will be a shul or a kosher restaurant where there wasn't before or they're out on the streets getting people to do an extra mitzva and just keeping people, that may otherwise drift from jewdasim

Also, it is a Swedish folk melody I happen to know. HaShem is referred to as Tzur Ysrael in Hatikva, which is a Name of G-d. So many Chabadniks now, including the father of the Rebitzen slain in Mubai, sing Hatikvah and support Israel. Why all this propaganda?
