Because he had influence from DNB and the rhythm he mastered from that . And, and he released this from LTJ's label (was released from Good looking.) This was before he did stuff for Ubiquity. It was right after "Americano." If you listen to his album AMERICANO, you will understand the transition he made from that album to this and to Ubiquity's latin stuff.
