Old School Flamming Lips were so much better than the new fluffy flowery stuff they make. Just like Mercury Rev. They used to rock then went the same direction. Makes me wonder if Dave Friedman told both bands to go all flutey patewty :) I want both bands to rock again. By the way do you know the connection between both bands, and ow Friedmand wound up working with one from New York and one in Oklahoma?
