I LOVE Genie Francis in these scenes. Laura is painted as a wilting violet sometimes. But boy, don't cross her! I love her as the "woman scorned"... she doesn't let him get away with his lies and bull****. Kudos to Genie! Anthony Geary is great too, but I must admit, Genie was always the part of Luke and Laura that was my favorite.

Nope. Because Genie and Ken Shriner are gone next week - they're leaving the show...for probably another year...who knows. Writers are stupid. They get rid of all the good people and keep too many of the sucky ones. I want L&L back too...it's not fair that TPTB are just giving us a short taste! I think Luke chooses Tracy over Laura! GRRRRR!!

I saw that this week, which is why I stopped watching General Hospital again. Tracy is dumping Luke? Who needs her anyway? Genie Francis probably did not want to sign a long term contract with ABC. If you remember, she asked for a lot of money when Laura woke up in 2006. This could have been another reason. I believe Luke said it best when he said that "Laura comes and goes." If Genie returns in the spring of 2009, Tony Geary will be off to Amsterdam.
There are zero new stories that say Genie asked for alot of money to return. In fact she's gone on public record to say she WANTS to return full time, and that money is NOT the issue. It's the idiots in charge over at GH who don't want Laura back full time.

Not much can bring it back at this point, even if Genie does return full time. Millions of Luke & Laura fans stopped watching when Laura had her breakdown in 2002. In seven years, the internet has dominated our TV time. Hardly anybody wants to see Sonny and Jason these days.
So let me get this straight, you wanted to be ravaged and have your rapist fall in love with you? I am a big Luke and Laura fan, but let´s be realistic here. In the real world, Luke Spencer would be eligible for parole in 2009.
I am so in love with Luke and Laura. They are so amazing together. No words can tell how much they love each other. No one can ever come between them EVER!!
