I've been a fan of Amie's from her first cassette that must have accidentally made it to Idaho.I say accidentally because I don't know of anybody else here that even knew about her.Every now & then I pull out her cd that was released after she had passed.Great music. She & I share Dec 4 th. Along with many others.Keep Smiling
I always loved her, wrote her a fan letter when i was younger and she wrote back and sent a autographed pic, i think that says alot of what kinda of person she was.. so said she was taken way to early..
An interesting story for you. My name is Randy, and I'm a DJ in Rhode Island. Many years ago I was playing a wedding and a person asked for a song by her. I had none. but I did some searching and was finally able to find some. I now play her song "Anywhere with you" at our weddings. I still play her. If you like, you may call me at 401-864-1100 (cell) and I'll tell you the story. If not, it's ok. Just wanted you to know her music still lives.
I still have her debut cd, Movin' Out. I hate that she didn't get more radio play, she definately deserved it. Too bad her life was taken from the world, because I'm sure she could've broke out and been a star. She had a great voice and she was a beautiful young lady. Sorry for ya'lls loss.
gosh i went to all her shows such a tragity she had such a bright future!!! R.I.P
