i either wanted the klx140l or the kx100.

Well, if you are gonna ride on roads (blacktop) the kx is best and if your gonna ride on trails and just want to idle around then my klx is best. The kx is very fun but I don't like having power bands kick in on me when im hill climbing plus of course you got to pretty much keep them wide open all the time. The klx is a fun dirtbike to practice wheelies on, check out some of my other videos ( I would go with the klx :D) if any more Q's add me on msn, kevinmullins8@hotmail *DOT* com

i have the kx100 and ive ridden the klx140l

the main difference is the 2 stroke in the kx and the 4 stroke in the klx.....the 2 stroke is more of a race bike and comes with mx forks while on the other hand, the klx comes with a more mellow suspension and because its a 4 stroke, u have better throttle control while the kx you must realy work the clutch a lot and watch out for the throttle acceleration in low gears...the kx will go out of control and flip if u pop the clutch in low gear

...all around, the klx will be more of a jump on and ride bike, the kx you realy need to look out for it and know how to control it

140 is a trail bike if you try and jump it ur going to bottom out, and the 100 is for motocross, so if you wanna race go with 100 if you wanna ride trail go with 140l. I like the 140l cuz of its size, and i like the 100 cuz i can jump super high on it. and yes im a girl.

no the 85 can beat it by only a little the 140 keeps up both in top gear excelently. For a 4 stroke 150 (pretty much), it kicks ass speed wise.

No you wouldnt if your 5,1 go with a 85 then later when you get taller you can higher the suspension and turn it into a 100
