What a great festival this used to be and it's such a shame to see the state it has now become. Eavis really pissed on his chips when he started ranting about the festival being "too middle aged" and about wanting to attact a younger crowd. A great way of ripping the heart out a festival is to critice the people that go. Now, sadly, it is nothing short of a chav fest on a par with the likes of Reading and Leeds etc.

No, the title is correct. This is from the film about Glastonbury which came out in 2006. There was no festival that year as it was a "fallow" year to let the ground recover.

He actually had laryngitison the day but a super trouper he carried on. He was fucking amazing. He is still brill. You cant compare him and Elton John, The latter is for the likes of boybands Blue. EJ is no compariosn to Bowie only by virtue they both took copious heaps of drugs and lived to tell the tale. Oh and lets not forget in 1972 Bowie came out as gay.
