  • What a beauty!!

  • perfect bell to me! thumbs up!

  • I have this ride and it doesn't sound anything like this one you are playing.Holy crap mine is horrible.I must have had a crackhead make mine.Even my bandmates are like " dude, your ride is the shits, nothing like the one on youtube"

  • I own this cymbal!! nothing beats PAISTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great sounding ride cymbal. Rick Allen of Def Leppard used this ride on the Pyromania tour 1983-84.

  • i was trying to get all Paiste cymbals for my kit, but there are just some sounds paiste doesn't have, like that zildjian oriental trash...it sounds amazing!

    i think i'll get it....when i can afford it....

  • I need to know if it crashes well

  • does the yamaha snare drum you always use have nouveau lugs?

  • @fs04pro The one we use the most does not have Nouveau lugs.

  • totally agree with u. the bell is the best part to use, or slightly off of it. crashes are crashes. rides are rides imo

  • hello

I have 2002 wild crashes (18-19") and 2002 19" china...I have to say they are fantastics but I don't like the hi-hat and ride wild cymbals that I have...I am looking for something just a little bit brighter less heavier, with a more pronunced stick feel + sometimes I like to play the ride as a crash. what do you suggest?

    thanks

  • well if you wish to stay on a pro level, and within paiste, i would suggest looking into the signature series.

  • hey umm are you willing to sell ur hats and ride cuz i really like those if u are talking abou the wild series cuz i could buy them off of you

  • the paiste signature full ride is pretty well suited to what u want. or maybe the signature reflector bell ride- altho they are both pricey

  • @nazzare79 maybe a paiste giant beat?

  • nice stick sound

  • what would be among the 2002 series the closest ride sound to the pst5 groove ride?

  • Whats type of china is this? Not replying to this could cost you guys a sale...so...haha. thanks guys.

  • Zildjian 18" Oriental Classic China Cymbal

  • the bell is sweet and pingy, but theres alot of wash, which isnt good with certain styles of rock

  • would a paiste 2002 20 inch ride be good for playing all styles?

  • i think so.. are great versatile cymbals

  • Most genres up to lighter rock would be covered with that cymbal IMO. but if you want more cutting power look for something a bit heavier. look at the heavy ride, suprisingly washy and versatile for the heaviness,IMO but take your time if you havent chosen already.

  • the traditional oriental china took my attention away what a china....mmm what are we talking about???

  • that things massive but you cant really crash on it because its so big, I would rather have a 19 or 20 inch so i cant still crash on it

  • this is a power ride. doesnt wanna be crashed.

  • I hope this has a bit more ping in person... The 20"s bow was better but the bell on this 'un 'ere is better. I hope if I try this in person it's a bit pingyer.

  • i got the 2002 17" rock crash but i was going get a new cymbal should i get this or a rude mega power ride

  • Personally I like the Rude better, but its up to you.

  • i have a Paiste 2000 Sound Reflections 22" Power Ride and it wounds JUST like this but darker - beautiful, but not the most versatile

  • THAT RIDE SOUNDS AWESOME, just why is it called a power ride :)

  • WOW. That ride sounds awesome. Nice bell and great range and stick definition.

  • I had that ride and sold it, It's louder and has a longer sustain in "person" ...Great bell and ping, just not dry enough for my taste.
