I hope 343 reads this comment. I am a hardcore Halo fan. I own every Halo game except for ODST and the original Combat Evolved, though I own Anniversary. I got Halo 2 this summer off eBay. I played the whole campaign and played some local multiplayer to test it out. I was ready for Matchmaking. I tried and, the service was not available anymore. I was disappointed. Please, 343. Bring Halo 2s multiplayer back up for the Xbox. Everybody wants it back. It'd be easier than remaking the entire game.

Keep it the way it was where you could play just for fun and connect with random hilarious people from around the globe. I mean yes there were ranks for certain gametypes but I like going into matches with all types, not just your "best match skill wise" or whatever.

My local EB Games has Halo: CE and not Halo 2 though, which is really dissapointing, as having the beginning and ending of a trilogy but missing the entire middle part (which had some of my favourite game moments from Halo) just isn't the same. I want to just have a marathon in the summer of Halo: Reach, Halo :CE, Halo 2, then Halo 3 :P

@Ziger117 A half dozen? My friend and I counted up all the Spartans that could possibly still be alive. Final count (if every single missing spartan survived): 30+. This is between S-I, S-II, and S-III Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Not Alpha, actually.

The S-III remnants and Blue Team, along with Dr. Halsey, trapped in the Sharpened Shield are very likely there for a long time if not forever. The S-I teams were disbanded and scattered. That was started in the Insurrection, but they have lengthened life spans (Johnson was likely 88 years old), so that means nothing, but for all of them who stayed in the military between all the ground lost, most are probly dead.

Of the S-II teams, its tricky. Most are dead, but the ones who survived or mightve survived are few but easy to count. The tricky part comes in with the ones who failed augmentations and survived. Its possible, according to Halsey's journal, that they couldve had the augmented effects healed and still be augmented, therefore in active duty again. That number could make it fluctuate by about 15. The S-II that are still alive and definitely active... 3. Kelly, Linda, John. Likely active, Grey Team
