13" of rain per hour would be a record type rainfall. This is not even close to a record rainfall. I would say that isn't even close to an inch per hour. You should at least be honest.
Leaving a gap at the end of the gutter makes no sense at all. Debris will get into this opening as well as birds, bees, squirrels, rodents, etc.
Buyer Beware. These are the same people that make the plastic waterfall system. Plastic is not smart for gutter protection hence they are not about quality.
