I have gone Green. The Green Party embodies my belief that the environment issue cannot be put off any longer. The carbon tax has to be initiated and tax shifted away from Canadians who need a break, and incentives put in place to create green companies.Elizabeth May understands these complex issues. I know the green Party has little chance to win a seat in Parliament but we have to keep trying and vote for what you believe in!

Elizabeth May almost won that by-election, placing a close second ahead of the NDP and Conservative candidates. This shows that the Greens are considered electable by voters. Drawing votes from all of the status-quo parties, the Greens have managed to capture the attention of Canadians regardless of their political leanings. Their policies and platform make good sense. I hope May is allowed to participate in the televised leaders debates.
