that is tha jetese in freeport... i went fishin there last week and the fishin was good. they have fish alot bigger than those down there but nice vid i wish ill catch somethin like those 2marrow
how come they put the fish back are they not eatable?????im a begginer and want to go out there but dnt know where and for what...and when and for what reason should i through a fish back???
I know that this isn't about black drum, but two nights ago my thirteen year old cousin caught a 45 inch one off a pier in Palacios. And the battle lasted about forty five minutes.
I've seen people put a whitie fish head on. Any small trout we use and cut steaks out of them. Put that on a # 6 hook and believe me, they'll hit it. I saw a guy pull out a 54 inch bull red out. That was a monster!
Can you send me a picture of the leader you used at erikfisherman@gmail.com

Wow great fish! Did u catch these in the fall cuz thats when they are usually running?

Very refreshing to see top notch anglers catching such great fish "then releasing them" ,
I say bravo to my Texan brothers!
That why your children will also have a chance to catch great fish, but other states who dont respect their game fish will be dry.
God bless Texas and its wonderful surfcasters!
