skol sounds pretty close to "skål" to me "skål" is the scandinavian word for cheers. (if you haven´t already figured viking were from scandinavia.)

I saw a variation on this for Mug Root Beer. The words Lucky Eddie forgot in that versions were "Mug Mug Mug Mug..."

It was originally a Hägar comic strip where the words were "Drink Drink Drink Drink Drink..."
