  • to those complaining about the pirate accent, pirates of those days WOULD have spoke like that because they were mostly from the southern port towns of rural england.

  • blackbeard i Love you youare the best pirate 4 EVER

    LONG LIVE BLACKBEARD

  • Válgame Dios, qué tetas tenía Linda Darnell...

  • Very inaccurate movie it was. Blackbeard: Terror at Sea is a must for the history.

  • It's completely inaccurate but who cares. Newton is hysterical hamming it up as Blackbeard. No one has ever done a pirate better and his over the top performance is the stereotype mannerisms people always think of with pirates. They have talk like a pirate day because of this performance. The movie is actually fairly entertaining and many remember the ending and how they kill him. If you watch it with an eye towards comedy you'll like it. They didn't mean it to be historical.

  • "Blackbeard: Terror at Sea is a must for the history"

    --draysunburst

Who needs history when you have re-enactment history.

  • that sentence is so rediculous in itself :D

without history you would not have re-enacted history but rather mere Fantasy (Larps)

however, the day Hollywood makes a decent historical correctly movie, the worlds gonna end :D

  • Germankaviar, all History is just the re-enactment from the perspective of the one writing it.

    Thanks, that was free.

  • History is written when it is done - in its contemporary time;

Not written afterwards by scientists. Those who write proper history books gather the facts ...but i know that between interpretive history (reenactment) and History in the anglo-american world there is a very thin difference even in scientific literature.

  • die

  • He was great as Bill Sykes too

  • This guy was the "pirate talk" prototype.

  • It's be a rrreal cool movie

  • Looks Like A Sucky Movie

  • not really looks kinda interesting

  • When I say "Sucky" I mean that it doesn't Blackbeard justice.
