  • Who is actually singing the song? Is it a real artist?

  • @colorofthewind85

    Linda Gary.

  • @colorofthewind85 Depends on which song, Ray Parker Jr. sings the theme song and idk who sings Love on the Streets

  • @Coyotefreak667 it has been ever since the Jersey Shore started xD

  • lol Egon and Peter's faces at 2:57- priceless

  • Um Egon, that's not how the legend of banshee goes, a banshee is a fairy woman who begins to wail if someone is about to die not singing and make everything explode...

  • @Shadowhawk28 not a fairy, an ugly ghostly hag

  • @christian41516 Well that's what some legends describes it

  • lol. winston gave birth to slimer

  • I wanted to watch this on my iPod but couldn't. How come you won't allow playback on iPods?

  • LOVE the CONSTANT Jerz bashing in this series, lol! Wonder how kids watching in Jerz felt about that!

  • i'll be the 1000th person to type this. Cartoons these days SUCK and have nothing on this old school 80's baby stuff....All of them kinda made us grown without knowing it just listen to the dialect and check out the plots... voltron, transformers, G I Joe,

the orginal ninja turles and the list goes on.....lol...

  • @loulou3t I`m the 1001 person to agree with you.

  • @loulou3t

Yeah, look at all the big movies today. All of them are 80s remakes

  • Just me but at 4.30ish she has really pointy nipples.....

  • I'm Irish and live in New Jersey, so this episode's really kicking me in the nads!

  • "Marsha is a wonderful computer, a friend for life" or at least 6 months

  • @Coyotefreak667 Ive lived here 7 years and that's pretty accurate!

  • An aspiring agent of doom... I love the writers for this show XD

  • I'm from Jersey and it is hell on earth LoL

  • "though i suppose we could afford to lose new jersey"

    hahaha

  • How many times do they make fun of New Jersey???

  • cool!

  • Actually, banshees were said to be the ghosts of women who were either murdered, or commited sucide.

And they don't sing; they wail.

The belief goes that when you hear one wail, it means that someone's about to die.

They're generally thought to be sad/cursed, but not evil.

(More stereo-typing idiots, who know nothing about Irish culture)

  • @SinnFein4ever

ummmm actually its wemon who die giving birth if i may say so....

  • @SinnFein4ever

    gotta love wikipedia.

  • SinnFein4ever didn´t get her info from wiki, I actually believe she or he is actually irish. Not everyone get´s there info from wiki teslaDray.

From wiki: The Banshee (pronounced /ˈbænʃiː/, BAN-shee), from the Irish bean sídhe ("woman of the síde" or "woman of the fairy mounds") is a female spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld. Her Scottish counterpart is the bean shìth (also spelled bean-shìdh).

  • @figocooldude

fine whatever. why does everyone take this so personally. it's a cartoon. on thundercats (one of my favorites) they apparently can breathe in space, but do you think someone will come up and say, "hey, no they can't!)? lol

and by the way i don't get all my info from wiki. don't generalize. now enjoy the show. ;-)

  • They´re thundercats man, of course they can breath in space, lol, they´re a higher in the evolution chain, specially snarf. Cheers!

  • sinn, you're telling me! i can't believe how wrong the ghostbusters got the banshee - everyone knows they don't sing! idiots! and the stay-puft marshmallow man, he's supposed to be a million feet tall. also, everyone knows that ghosts dont actually have slime - thats just a myth thats been blown out of proportion! jesus, i can't believe this kids cartoon about ghost busting is not entirely accurate. god damn stereotyping bastards! GOD.

  • horseflu,

It sounds as if the Irish fire flows through your veins as well.

  • No, I was just implying you're a faggot, and this is a kids cartoon so it should never be taken as seriously as you've taken it - twice. You're killing my faith in humanity. Ireland belongs to the British.

  • @SinnFein4ever Much as I agree about the lack of accuracy, it's just a cartoon.

  • Insanity Records, love it. If anyone wants to see the music video of this (At least what was on the show) go over to my channel.

  • Comment removed

  • see,see that is one GOOD reason to not like the Irish.

  • "The vocalist was Irish."

    *nods at eachother*

    ...Wait, what was that?

  • ...Sorry for being stupid and not watching the rest of the vid before asking. Ignore that comment up there ^^'

  • Winston: Thanks Egon..I feel much safer now. lol @ Winston!

  • to think that stereo costs $1000, then it goes boom.:(

and the smiley face is probably the station or something of that sort.

  • 2:24 egon doesnt like rock and roll apparently

  • hi people i have a question-do you know who singin shanna song in this vid(from 2.14 to 2.54)?I love this song

  • yeah that's what I'd like to know. another youtuber mentioned that it sounded like pat benetar.

  • @RickRockus I wish I knew. I haven't had luck in finding out who she is. I would love to hear the whole song. Though the thought of my Spongebob action figure coming to life and trying to kill me gives me chills. I'd still hear it. I can just superglue Spongebob to a table.

  • Peter: 2 beds explode, a light disentergrates, and my stereo implodes. You don't see that everyday.

  • @Blackheartrises I agree, you don't normally see a stereo explode only broken.

  • was it a coincidence the managers name was vinz?

  • god i wish i was born in time to watch this show when it was new

  • Bah, there's no shame in coming along later. You can love it now.

  • Thanks for those true, true words! <3

  • 0:00 to 0:12 is cute

  • i love the theme song it's so fun to dance to! XD

  • 3:24 I think he said, "The fridge was throwing out all the food!"

  • @markdpane I think he said, "I am sorry, I won't do that again".

  • 2:39 - 3:02 : Heck with Jem and the Holograms, the banshee is the one who should've had her own cartoon--she's awesome. lol

  • Is that because you think Peter's scream and the explosions are funny? Because I do!

  • @markdpane Yeah, Peter's scream and the explosions are funny.

  • Jem was a legend!!!

  • LOL @ 3:08 - You don't usually see that type of light show from music :)

  • anyone see the movie trick or treat?

  • wow those guys are crazy naming their appllainces... right DELLy

  • I see I'm not the only one who notices how much New Jersey got picked on in this show....classic rivalry, love it!

  • oh god, i'm going to die! i heard a banshee sing!

  • Slimer looks like an overgrown car at 2:10 perched on Egon's head like that. Egon's also my type of geek. He reads while walking and names his computers. Gotta love that blue-eyed nerd.

  • Agreed, agreed :)

  • Something about a geeky guy. I've had a crush on Harold Ramis since I was a kid XD

  • @ChibiProwl so true

    (i am girl btw)

  • "All over the country, even new jersy"

    god they hate New Jersy

  • Hey, I'm from New Jersey!!

    What gives??

  • XD maybe no one liked jersey city in the 80's?

  • The joke is, no one in new york likes New Jersey. :/ Idk why, I like NJ

  • Wow, they really just jumped right into the plot with this episode. They don't always do that.

  • SLIMER SOUNDS SO CUTE!!

  • For a banshee, she sounds great. If only they all sounded like that.

  • ah why didn't the baton girl stomp her own fire out

  • lol at 3:07, "And that chartbuster was love makes me live!" That was funny after they almost exploded from that Record.

  • this was a fantastic episode.

  • You Heard it from Egon.

  • actually your quality isnt bad at all its pretty good

  • I remember these shows! They were cool, and funny! They sure don't make shows like this any more!

  • 2:15 I really like that song. Sounds kind of like Bonnie Tyler.

  • Yay! 80's Rock!!! :)

  • so all irish singers r banshee's?

  • Just the Irish singers who's music causes stereos and beds to explode, and ceilings to turn into giant bats and fly away.

  • i just notice that the ghost at beggining sounded like gogo in tiny toon adventures

  • Probably because Frank Welker provided voices on both shows.

  • @yeahdude133 That's nothing; for the whole first season, he sounded like a deeper version of Winston, played by arsenio Hall...whihc was SO MUCH cooler

  • does anyone know where to find the song she sings? ive been looking for it for a long time... :(

  • It's simple...Jersey sucks

  • Hope Pete had good insurance for his stereo!

  • not to sound naive but whys new yorkers hate new jersey so much

  • As someone born in Jersey, I gotta say it gets old after a while. AFAIK New Jerseyans don't hate New Yorkers, so I don't get it either.

  • as a philadelphian we grew up hating jersey as well

  • Funny how talking down about Jersey gets a person gets people voted thumbs-up, and talking down about NY gets them thumbs-downs.

  • Good episode

  • 'though we could afford to lose new jersy'

'Thanx egon I feel much safer'

  • Heh. records. Now you can tell this is an oldie!

  • But a goodie! LOL!

  • Almost fell out of my chair laughing when the stereo blew up.

  • Well, when the Ghostbusters say "Hard Rock", apparently, they mean it!

  • That was really funny..
