  • Oh for a road like this!

  • can someone post an english translation please.

  • @qquark99 I could try but these kind of things are lost in translation. I often do that for my wife as she is french, but she gets only abt half. Urdu is especially rich in expression and it's very hard to translate the real meaning. Google style translation does not actually convey the full meaning.

  • MY god , rafi saheb...ur were a brilliant singer but little people know how good a human u were ..no jealousy,no show off humbleness epitome ...UNKNOWINGLY U HAVE GIVEN ME SO MANY NICE MOMENTS ..U R MY MASTER IN HEAVEN .. THEY SAY U BECOME WHAT U SAY JUST BEFORE U LEAVE THIS WORLD ... MY MOTHER KNOWS I WILL SAY ONLY ONE THING , GIVE ME HS HEART & HUMBLENESS ..THE VELVET OF HIS THROAT ...I JUST LOVE U SAHEB , U R MY LORD

  • my most favourite song ever...........

  • Mere sanam film ka ek qeemti heera hai ye anmol geet. Mohd rafi sahab ke dil ke jharonko se nikle alfaaz wishvajeet ke haav bhaav se nihar kar humare dilon tak pahuch kr aasha parekh ek bebaak andaz main kho gaye .. love it very very much..

  • lush yrrrrr hud hay yar softness ki awaz mn

  • Awesome . dnt have words to say......

  • What a lovely song and beautiful melody. Thanks

  • this is a very sweet honey song for indain film

  • I thought this song was a hit because of Biswajeet's wonderful acting....lol.....I agree this is an OP Nayar Classic all the way...Rafi Sahib would be the first to admit it. But having the best singer in hindi music render it didnt hurt either !

  • superb....!!!!

  • Uncomparable bollywood composition......the one and only genius Rafi sahab......the mesmeriser O P Nayyar.......wat a modulation according to the backgound score...hats off Rafi sahab.

  • Golden years of Hindustani films and what a great songs of 60s brings back very good memories.

Sadly, what we have today is corrupt and westenized Bollywood with over rated Khan Child or Kid actors who cannot act but are made famous by today's ignorant and stupid young generation.

  • Pukarta Chaala hoon Main!!! Beautiful!!! I love this song,,

  • heart touching...wow...awesome song...voice amazing......and great video....

  • i love the opening music.......

  • One of best of Rafi and OP Nayyer!

  • I see a lot of compliments below to Rafi saab, which no one can deny. But the song is remembered equally or arguably more for its Melody. Whose Melody? OP Nayyar the great indeed...The combination made it a timeless classic.. Without one of them, this wouldn't have got created. Absolutely top of the list.

  • True. OP Nayyar was a genius and even without using Lata he got to the top.

  • thats becaos he knew Rafi sahab was more than enough to makehim and his music a success!!

Rafi sahab , the legend, the best there was and still isto this day!!!

  • don't get me wrong, rafi is the all time best but OP also used mahendra kapoor with equal success. he also moulded asha and RD just took over the reins from OP.

  • @Vidyut : i agree but dude the thing is u just surf some more songs of Rafi saab and check out how much catchy the tune is, i m sure u wud come up with so many songs not having a nice or say Inspiring tunes but indeed Rafi saab added so much in them and the song sounds beautiful just bcoz rafi saab sang it, no other singer can add so much life to song, ok WOT IF O.P.Nayyer had given this track to some other singer?" do u really think this wuda been pretty? i dont think so

  • @Fooqee You make a very good point. Rafi is amongst the many great singers of all time. No dispute...

  • @Vidyut I am totally agreed with you. you are using your brain. Just like wherever Shahrukh Khan does his show it starts with "Suraj howa madham chand jalney laga" then he act like he sung that song. Actually credit goes to the singer Suno, off course he acted nice but the way they shows its totally wrong.

  • @Vidyut : Vidyut you are right in that the singer whose voice one hears get the acclaim for rendering a good song while in reality the song is the result of teamwork, involving the singers, the music director, the orchestra etc. Yes, it is true that one remembers the singers but forgets who the music directors and others are but then that is the way things are structured. . Rafi´s rendition of this song is great ,as almost all songs of Rafi are. Salute the great man and leave it at that please.

  • Goshhhhhhhhh; It never gets old; timeless... The melody reminds me of childhood days and damn so sweeeeet

  • my all time favourite

  • Melody, Melody and Melody from the undisputed King of Melody ... Shree, Honorable, Loved one, THE Adored One , The one and only Mohammad Rafi Jee ...

Devi Saraswati was very much alive in her 1000% capacity in Shree Rafijee's voice .... Bowing down humbly to Shree Rafijee and to my mother Saraswati Maa...

    Truly with all my admiration,

    Raaj Sunder.

  • the magnetic flow of meleody in rafi sahab voice is out of world......the voice flows like velvet......hats off to the king....

  • O.P nayyar was a genius,I think this is the best song of rafi.

  • One of the greats of Rafisaab.

  • Great combination of music and lyric, and of course divine voice of some one, who was born in Amritsar.

Satguru Ram Das founded the city and invited people of all walks, to bless the city.

Rafi's parents seems to have that blessings !
