You know instead of doing latch drops you can just hold it in a modified latch drop position. Instead of holding the latch, hold the bite handle, and then flick the safe handle forward so it comes around, then move your thumb as the safe handle comes around and then catch it.

Magnets are installed on the inside of the handles, as seen in the first video. The magnetic field is strong enough to hold it closed, but he'd have to put another set of magnets on the outside of the handles to lock it open. And besides, you wouldn't want a balisong to lock open when you're trying to flip. XD

but now when ever the handles come togeather then it locks and also the there is no way of feeling the difference between the safe and bite handle

You don't do latch drops. There's no latch. Think of it as a hybrid latchless/latched Bali.

nope, its a modified drop point it only looks double sided because of the choils where the zen pins rest.
