    At Simon Fraser University, after a save the Freons speech she'd given (91 or so) she was asked by a refrigeration worker about the thermal decomposition byproducts of Freons, like phosgene.

    She brightly replied that since there's "no phosphorous in Freons" this was impossible.

    Phosgene is COCl2, carbonyl choloride, one of the milder emissions when now-banned chemicals like CFC-12 contact flame or red hot metal.

  • They don't care. They are spending other people's money (their parents').
