I do not think Malkin is better than Crosby. Between Ovie, Geno, and Sid, I'd take Crosby every time. Ovechkin falls way short on the defensive end. Malkin takes shifts and sometimes whole games off. Crosby goes all out on every shift, on both sides of the ice, and always comes up with a big performance in big games. He has scored the first goal of the game SIX times this postseason ( out of 15 games). You also have to consider that Malkin is a +1 while Crosby is a +9.

Ovechkin makes his team better by giving his 100% every game and doesn't care if he recieves a big hit, he still gets up and tries to score while crosby gets hit and cries to the refs in hopes of making the other team get a penalty. Crosby n malkin aint faster than ovechkin. They are maybe good players, but ovechkin is a sniper, its normal for him to shoot the puck when he has it, he has the best shot in his team.
the only way he makes his team better is by putting points on the board. like someone posted previously, he's not a team player. shooting is good, but he needs to create better opportunities for his teammates. his defensive aren't that good. ovechkin brings out the best in himself, crosby and malkin bring up the moral of the team by including them in plays.....frequently!

you can't really look at it that way, yes Ovechkin does shoot a lot, but a lot of times his shots are dump in, or simply just to get it on net. How many of those shots are actually quality shots I don't know. In my opinion Ovechkin is the best scorer in the league, regardless of how many shots he takes, isn't that the point, good things happen when you keep shooting on net.
I guarantee you Crosby is faster the Ovechkin, Sid reaches top speed after 3 crossovers. And as for this goal, it is a perfect example of what separates Malkin and Sid from Ovie. FINESSE. They have more assets to their game compared to ovie. Dont get me wrong though, Ovechkin is far and away the best at his style. as for who i would pick first if i was a GM, definetly Sid. Just way too complete to pass over

I kinda agree with you, but his game won't last because of the fact that he's always wild (with the exception on defense, where he simply slashes players). In five years, he'll have almost no chance at getting 50.
When you take twice the number of shots, more are bound to go in. But in shooting perecentage, Crosby and Malkin own him, They are more team players because they don't care about being the one to get the goal as long as they can set one up....for the team.
I also know of at least 3 obvious dives OV took in the 2nd round alone.
i am sure he is having a great time watching them on tv instead of participating in the playoffs still. ovie is a bum face it. hes a selfish dirty player that nobody likes out side of the dc area.
A perfect example of OV's 'defensive play' was when OV was the last man back near the blue line. Instead of passing it or just dumping it in deep, he hogs the puck, Crosby strips him and goes in on a breakaway to score while OV just sits and watches him without even trying to get back to defend.
Or how about his play when he turned the puck over in the rags series and then just watched Callahan, who was right beside him when he turned the puck over, stake down the ice and scoring the GWG.

Example: last season they sold out every single game, but on that chart, they were 16th with 108.4 percent....Detroit was 7th with only 98.2 percent.
Mathematically accounting for the smaller venue at Mellon Arena, the Pens attendance in 03-04 was higher than at Joe Louis arena.
The rankings are in total seats sold so sukkinghisownballs is attempting to compare apples to oranges. Apples to apples though the Pens then must have a better hockey market.

ALSO. Ovechkin has 11 goals on 90 shots (12.2) compared to Crosby's 13 goals on 61 shots (21.3). No one is better than Sidney Crosby right now.

Ovechkin makes his team better by giving his 100% every game and doesn't care if he recieves a big hit, he still gets up and tries to score while crosby gets hit and cries to the refs in hopes of making the other team get a penalty. Crosby n malkin aint faster than ovechkin. They are maybe good players, but ovechkin is a sniper, its normal for him to shoot the puck when he has it, he has the best shot in his team.

the only way he makes his team better is by putting points on the board. like someone posted previously, he's not a team player. shooting is good, but he needs to create better opportunities for his teammates. his defensive aren't that good. ovechkin brings out the best in himself, crosby and malkin bring up the moral of the team by including them in plays.....frequently!

Ovechkin has an amazing shot, but he also takes 500+ shots a season, which means 10% shooting. Which isn't all that amazing.

you can't really look at it that way, yes Ovechkin does shoot a lot, but a lot of times his shots are dump in, or simply just to get it on net. How many of those shots are actually quality shots I don't know. In my opinion Ovechkin is the best scorer in the league, regardless of how many shots he takes, isn't that the point, good things happen when you keep shooting on net.

I guarantee you Crosby is faster the Ovechkin, Sid reaches top speed after 3 crossovers. And as for this goal, it is a perfect example of what separates Malkin and Sid from Ovie. FINESSE. They have more assets to their game compared to ovie. Dont get me wrong though, Ovechkin is far and away the best at his style. as for who i would pick first if i was a GM, definetly Sid. I kinda agree with you, but his game won't last because of the fact that he's always wild (with the exception on defense, where he simply slashes players). In five years, he'll have almost no chance at getting 50.

When you take twice the number of shots, more are bound to go in. But in shooting perecentage, Crosby and Malkin own him, They are more team players because they don't care about being the one to get the goal as long as they can set one up....for the team.
I also know of at least 3 obvious dives OV took in the 2nd round alone.

A perfect example of OV's 'defensive play' was when OV was the last man back near the blue line. Instead of passing it or just dumping it in deep, he hogs the puck, Crosby strips him and goes in on a breakaway to score while OV just sits and watches him without even trying to get back to defend.

I don't mention that season because they WEREN'T the lowest in attendance. If you had a brain at all, you'd quickly realize that those rankings are in NUMBERS OF TICKETS SOLD and not in percentages. Since Pittsburgh's arena seats the least in the NHL, even selling-out every game won't put them in 1st place. Example: last season they sold out every single game, but on that chart, they were 16th with 108.4 percent....Detroit was 7th with only 98.2 percent.

Mathematically accounting for the smaller venue at Mellon Arena, the Pens attendance in 03-04 was higher than at Joe Louis arena.
The rankings are in total seats sold so sukkinghisownballs is attempting to compare apples to oranges. Apples to apples though the Pens then must have a better hockey market.
