You have to drift during turns. It's more difficult to maneuver, but you can do hops and Mini-Turbos only in Manual.

Do you use b for the turbos? Like how does taht work?

With the Wii Wheel, yes, I use B to drift. I hold it down as I turn. It's hard to explain; you'll understand it better playing by yourself until you get the basics down.

The Wii Wheel is fun, isn't it? I sometimes hit my friends whenever they come around to play with me occasionally (Literally), so they're rather afraid of the Wheel and would use the GCN Controller or Wiimote + Nunchuk combos instead.

Huh? Do you mean referring to someone who uses the Wii Wheel? I do notice there are less and less people who use it. It's something you need to get used to, which I think many don't take the time to do.

There are some pros who use Automatic though.

Take the leader of the Noddingdog clan, D007, for instance. He was one of the first people in the game to achieve a 9999 VR (about 5 days after the game came out) and is nearly unbeatable. Yet he specializes in Automatic drifting.

Automatic has awesome handling, I mean look how sharp he can turn!

The Manual's handling is to slow and less responsive. It takes longer around the corner's meaning SLOWER EXIT SPEEDS!

I hate the way the jumpsuits are designed, that's why. Not sure what Kim Possible has to do with this; I don't mind hers, as her character design was already meant for pants in the first place, and her behavior wouldn't make a power suit out of place.

But I can't stand seeing those scrawny arms and legs attached to the big rectangular torsos. It's an artistic travesty.

Depends on the control scheme. With the Wii Wheel, you hold down left or right on the D-pad (when you have it sideways or attached to the Wii Wheel).

In the fist race I saw you tricking off the boosts on the wall. You shouldn't as this gains you extra height, so are airbourne for longer, and you will always get a landing boost, even if you miss the thing. Plus the Fast Staff Ghosts thend to avoid some ramps, like the blue one in Moo Moo Meadows.

Are you talking about that segment in the ruins themselves? From what I've seen, the boost you get when landing is a lot bigger when you do a trick than when you don't (very much the same difference between a Super Mini-Turbo and a regular Mini-Turbo). I don't think I've tested myself on if I'm actually faster not tricking than if I do trick.

One ramp I know wastes time is the last one in Ghost Valley 2,

I know that coming off of a quarterpipe greatly increases my steering, enough that I can make that right angle turn with ease on any vehicle, trick boost or not.

But as I said, this would have to be something I'd have to test myself.

What's a Rainbow Road spammer?

I've heard of Shy Guy Beach spammers, but that's it.

Some people constantly request Rainbow Road to foil "noobs". It's the perfect antidote to Luigi Circuit spammers.
