If there is rare weapons in your game, its via because you played with a german or have a computer and used cc (console command) and type in the weapons. So no there not really rare, its just rare to play with a German. You ask why Germans get this? Because in the German version of L4D they took out basically the extensive gore. So they replaced it with 5 extra kickass weapons.
